Page 1 of Eclipse DVD 695 nightmare!

I have recently 5days ago purchased the above player from Richer sounds.
I have had nothing but trouble. Will load, wont read disc have to change setting all the time. Last night it would not stop trying to load the disc and would not stop, ended up leaving it until today, managed to get gladiator out which it wont load. Anyone else had problems with this player cost £179.99 multi region alledgedly! I am taking it back what should i get for £250.00?

They`ll have no problems replacing it for you or exchanging for another model.

I have had mine for a couple of months and havent had any problems.

Got one of these recently. Will play Region1 DVD`s just fine....As for Region 2 ..forget it....DVD player LCD says "No Disc", and the TV screen says "wrong disc format". Played with all the settings etc, Region1 plays as Region1 or Multiregion. Region2 though its Nada....zilcho...kaput...

Get something better...

Hi....Got the same player from the same place 7 days ago....it plays anything i put in it....seems like you have a poorly machine....remember you have a money back back option if you are not satisfied....Steve

I changed my machine for a replacement 695 and it plays fine thanks.

Took mine back swopped it for the same model and it plays region 2 fine vcd and all without going into set up at all. Take it back !!

mine will play anything too but it screams like a bitch sometimes especially on the titles,but also during the film which is a bit off putting
