RE: Lobster 700TV (phone/TV/Dab radio) £50 or less

HI,iv`e just got one myself and am very impressed! also bought this purely for the dab as its the same price as the cheapest portable dab out there only the bonus of the functions of a smart phone and everything else! i am having problems with tv,in fact every time i try it says cannot get virgin bites try later, then it asks to update subscription,then tells me to check my data connection! hope to sort it out over the weekend. on another forum somebody succesfully installed tom tom 5.2 , and there was also a link to buy a gprs receiver for £19.00 with uk maps which is compatible with the lobster! also veified by another user,so all in all its looking like a STONKER OF A BARGAIN! also like the idea of connecting car aerial to the rear of it so you can have dab in car on the cheap. although how do you connect the bloody thing to a car aerial? also somebody says in ASDA you can now buy a 1gig mini sd card for a fiver! so i`ll be down to the local one tomorrow! cheers! 8)

8) :/ how did you hear about this? i went in to my local co-op in dorset,its a big superstore and they didnt have them on the shelves.but the ticket was there as £49.99.
so,i asked at checkout,then they fetched one and it was scanning as £49.99.
so,can you confirm as to how you know they are the lower price? i mean i`m for going back and arguing the toss to make a saving as they are a nice bit of kit. you are talking about the small personal dab radio thing?

yes,its a perfectly good piece of kit.well worth having in my opinion.the site empire direct are havin a clearout! its not an ipod,er,so its not seen to be fashionable or hip,no wot i mean!!!!! 20 GIG HARDDRIVE PLAYER FOR A TON.ITS A BARGAIN! if you are a practical bargain hunter,but if you are one of the herd then you better get your ipod! :x

8) :) for the price its a bargain! i have a panasonic digi camcorder,but it only has optical zoom of x10 while this one has x22. there is nothin wrong with hi8,you can still get tapes and the quality will be good. medion is a decent brand,expect its a badge on a perfectly acceptable camera from another brand. its ideal for holidays,home use or whatever! if i hadnt picked up my panasonic from the argos fiasco ie. £100 instead of £350 i would deffo go for this!

;) canon, any canon u cant go wrong.am sure pixmania were doing a canon powershot A60 recently for £89.00 only 2 megapix but has optical zoom. seem to remember this camera was getting rave reviews about a yr ago when amazon were doing them for £100.if you check steves digicams site the review is excellent, you can also see the quality of the pics there.for a beginner,ie a woman to use its an excellent camera. i myself am using a powershot a80 which cost me £200 which was reduced from £300,but i only bought because i couldnt find an A60 model anywhere! you dont need mega,mega,pixels,ie. 3 or 4 or 5 to make good pics,just the right camera at the right price in the right hands! purely my opinion of course.

just been into the big sainsburys in castlepoint in bournemouth,and they were still 19.99,had it scanned and it still came up as 19.99. spoke to what seemed a floor supervisor and she investigated and said "the computer says no" would i like to speak to the duty manager,as we were in a hurry we declined. on driving home i thought about it abit more,so called the duty manager.well after a wait of 10 minutes finally got to speak to him.gave me a load of bollocks about this website not representing sainsburys and he will investigate,ie he will call scarboro store to check the price as the first poster said he bought from,but all in all he was absolutely hopeless in dealing with me,and before he hurriedly ended the call,was practically admitting that if they are indeed 1.24 he will avail himself of them! PRICK!!!!!!

ANYWAY, the people who have got them good on yer,fellow bargain hunters,because he informed me that the actual price was indeed £24.95 :) :) ;)

dell "printer,maybe bargain debate"

has anybody who sent emails to dell about this printers cartridges etc.received any feedback from them yet? mine arrived today after waiting for a week or so,printer looks good,includes a usb and all.but am concerned like most other people about cartridges.
can you get a refill kit for these and is it true that you cant fit any other cartridges in the damn thing? would rather send it back but presume they would charge for carriage which would negate the whole process! cheers. :/

great spot! only waited 48 hours for delivery of a juicer and confirmation of george forman grill to be sent out about augst 1st. and if you order anything they will also give you a free blender and if you recommend someone and they order a minimum of 60.00 stuff they give you 25.00.
but hey now.... do you really want to get involved in all this catalogue stuff?

still think any of the canon powershots are better and superior,u can still pickup a canon a60 for 116.00 from ebuyer and the a70 for 150.00 from megapixels.
ok.you dont get chargers and all but a far better piece of kit and they take the much cheaper comp.flash memory.

there foam covered,and not cheap foam either! who cares about the details etc? they are 1.99 repeat 1.99 and are the best sounding phones even compared to loads of others up to anything 20.00-40.00,original poster is right. dont be put off by the apparently toyish,cheapish appearance,these are MONSTERS in disguise! :)

:) you were spot on! managed to get the last pair,look a bit naff in royal blue.but as you say if there crap you take em back.was sceptical at first,but,wow! these cans do rock!whatever kind of music you play,simply amazing,especially when the 1.99 price comes into the equation.am using them with my archos jukebox/mp player,good spot!
would urge anyone out there to save up and go buy a pair! :)
