About this user: Any ideas where i can my hands on the Dansai 852. I live in Cardiff, but the local Tesco stores have sold out. You have mentioned that it is badged under different company names - any ideas who and where to get hold of them?!?!?!?!

LG 4210 CD-RW`s

I have heard conflicting stories that this player will play CD-RW`s. Some people have said that it will not. If it does is there any way of enabling it play.

The main problem with the DA3520 was a very loud hissing problem. The problem was so great that with the TV switched off you could hear the speakers hissing away!!! This problem was caused by the actual player rather than the speakers. It has since been rectified and all problem units seem to have been taken out of the system. There are no reported problems with these units any more. With all home cinema kits you will hear a small amount of hiss, but nothing that will bother you. With regards to noisy fans I have come across a few units with that problem but not that many. On a whole very good unit.

Dansai 852 - AV query

Will the Dansai 852 and its rebadged brothers, automatically switch to AV when the player is switched on. I have replaced my remote control and it doesnt have an AV button. I cant switch to AV on the controls on the TV also.

Where can i get my hands on the Dansai 852?

I am trying to get my hands on a Dansai 852. My local Tesco Extra in Cardiff has sold out and they are not sure if or when they are getting more. Does anyone know where they are selling these units local to myself. I have also heard that these units are badged under other company names. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so what are they badged as. Any suggestions appreciated.
