Page 1 of Where can i get my hands on the Dansai 852?

I am trying to get my hands on a Dansai 852. My local Tesco Extra in Cardiff has sold out and they are not sure if or when they are getting more. Does anyone know where they are selling these units local to myself. I have also heard that these units are badged under other company names. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so what are they badged as. Any suggestions appreciated.

I seem to recal reading elsewhere that it`s a Tesco Christmas only deal, so it will be several months before they surface again.

May be worth speaking to the manager of your local Tesco branch ,if can get one transferred from northampton (hunsbury branch ) as they have quite a few in stock.

They have hundreds of the things at Tesco Kingston Park SuperStore,
That`s in Geordie land by the way. But at the last glance they only had the £199 deal with 20 `Free` DVD`s, still if you want to start a collection (;-)

Have you tried Tesco`s online service?

Makro had a machine called a Naiko which is the same as the Dansai - same price too.

I looked at my Tesco today, but they do not have any, nor do they have an under £100 model an sale at all. They seem to be completly out of line with their competitors.
But they do have piles and piles of the Prism at £200. This is a LG DVD 4710 plus 20 DVD`s.
Think they would have been better selling this or another player at £99.

i work for tesco loads of dansai come and sell out with in a few days some stores do have a limit of how many they have but if you ask at customer services you might be able to get some shipped to your local store!!
