Connections

Hi i am after some help with the video connections.
what is the best way of connecting up my system thru my amp or individually to my tv. i.e dvd svhs to back of tv or in to the amp and out of the amp to the telly? i am ok with the speaker connections but cannot seem to get i picture if i coonect everything to the amp and then one lead to the tv.

Hello there people.
did anyone take the offer of the above speakers from empire direct?
I ordered them at £366 the grey ones and was told that there was a wait of 2-3 weeks for them. got a call from empire today and the guy said that there was problems with the supplier and would I like to have the FS2-AV silver ones instead for the same price as the grey ones ? £150 difference. cooool?
One question to ask what the difference anyone know

haven`t had any probs before but got the confimation email on the 20th feb and no sign just worried it ain`t been picked up by customs.
it wasn`t a big order but it was over the £18 limit?

it is annoying,they could do what devoted do and place the disc inside a sleeve, to save the disc getting scuffed or damaged.

all very well and good if u don`t mind waiting a month for delivery.
i ordered blow, austin powers and 15 minutes on the 1st feb. Every time i log on to there site the delivery date keeps on changing, at the moment it is the 3-3-02. so cheap but not quick

has anyone had any bad dealings with this company i.e. not delivering the goods on time.
I have been messed about on 2 occasions over the delivery. Ok so it`s only twice but when you have to take days off work unpaid it`s a bit of a joke with excuses like " we sent the item out but there wasn`t any in stock" and the next one is class " someone has ordered the delivery of the tv for December the 19th not the 19th of February".
I know that they are very cheap but come on they are pretty bad excuses.
So Thursday is the next delivery date so I will keep you posted
