Hack for Bush 1005

My friend has just been given a Bush dvd1005. He would like to know if there is a multi region hack for this machine please?

Wharfedale 750S

Can anyone help me? I have recently purchased my first Region 1 disc and have found that the picture jumps, my friend claims that this is a problem when playing Region 1 on my player, but sadly he did not have the answer to my question. I have played Swordfish, Apocalypse Now, Hellraiser 1+ 2, Jordan Ultimate. Is there an answer?
