Page 1 of Wharfedale 750S

Can anyone help me? I have recently purchased my first Region 1 disc and have found that the picture jumps, my friend claims that this is a problem when playing Region 1 on my player, but sadly he did not have the answer to my question. I have played Swordfish, Apocalypse Now, Hellraiser 1+ 2, Jordan Ultimate. Is there an answer?

Have you changed your picture settings from PAL to NTSC?

That should help...providing you have a TV that supports NTSC

Had the same problem with my first region 1 disk. I set the dvd player to auto it has worked fine ever since. Good luck.
