My son had problems with his Scan 2000 not reading DVDr`s. We upgraded the firmware and its now playing them. This may help with your problem.

I am sick of people telling me that the fire-fighters are a special case because they "risk their lives". do the soldiers who lay down their lives for their country and who are protecting us from fire at the moment get £30k a year? do nurses and the police get £30k a year? NO.

I was once told there are only 2 professions where you get paid for lying on your back. Think about it.

remote code for the Daewoo DVG 6000D

Does anyone know the remote code for the Daewoo DVG 6000D to allow me to use a 4 in one remote to control it. It is not listed in the 4 in ones list and none of the others listed appears to work.

I`ve been told the only way to get the macrovision off is to change the chip then update the firmware, or purchase a macrobuster for £30. Niether appeal to me

This is a great machine. I puchased it for £75 in Safeway Glasgow. There is no bypass but you can choose what region you want. You can`t disable the macrovision unless you change the chip or use a macrobuster but still well worth the money

I purchased mine in Anniesland, Glasgow, Scotland. It plays everything, it is multiregion (with remote hack). The only thing i do not have is a firmware update to take the macrovision off.

Daewoo 6000D for £75

Safeway, the superstore are selling Daewoo 6000D dvd players for £75. they play just about everything and there is a multiregion hack available. Only fault so far is I can`t get the macrovision off yet.

How do i switch off macrovision on the Daewoo DVG 6000D

I have carried out the hack for the Daewoo DVG 6000D and I am a bit confused. I notice it has 8 region codes. There is no region 0 or 13 to allow me to make it fully multi-region. does this mean I have to to change it every time I play a DVD from a different region?

Is it possible to switch off the macrovision to allow me to tape movies without getting the pulsing?
