Region hack for AD-L 528

I have tried the hack for the 528 but get no Set-up screen after pressing 1,9,9,9. Is there something that I am missing? Is this hack restricted by the Firmware version that I have and if so, is there a way that I can check exaclty what version of firmware I have. Any other advice? Please help

Does anyone know if there is a hack for a Cyber-home AD-M 512 with Firmware version 9.9 - 0112?
