RE: Vicar of Dibley £19.97 @Music Zone
The fact that the price has dropped like a stone on this box set is probably due to there being some more episodes in production, thus rendering the `Complete` tag as meaningless.
A similar thing happened with the Ab Fab `Complete` set, which contained series 1-4, but then they went ahead and made a series five.
Still a good price though . . .
RE: Men behaving badly- series 1-6 for £17.49 at bensonsworld.co.uk
Great Spot!
I had been tempted by this for a while at £30 via amazon, and so for less than £20 it is a steal!
Thanks again for posting.
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (All sold now, sorry)
I assume that mine will arrive on Monday - looking forward to it.
However, for anyone that missed out, there is potentially an even better deal at ebuyer.
The Canon MVX20i (2.2mp) is currently selling for a smidge over £350, but with an offer to reclaim £150 back from Canon, meaing it would only cost around £200. So, for around £50 more than we paid for the MVX200, this superior unit could be yours.
Personally, I`m happy with what I`ve ordered, but thought that the MVX20i might be of interest to other bargain hunters who missed out.
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
Same here - thanks again. :D
Looking forward to getting some good use out of this, once it arrives.
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
I ordered mine on Friday (23rd Sep) and it was due for delivery on or before Mon 3rd Oct (via Super Saver delivery.) However, in my experience Ebuyer quite often upgrade delivery so that it arrives earlier than that.
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
I don`t know about anyone else who ordered, but ebuyer have still not taken payment for this, although they did so within 30 minutes of a separate order I placed for accessories later the same evening.
However, as this isn`t an `obvious` misprice (the item is disconinued and I have seen it for £200 elsewhere) , there shouldn`t be a problem . . . should there???
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
Fingers crossed that this comes off for those who were quick enough.
However, savastore.com has the same unit for £200 if anyone is interested (over £150 less than the likes of amazon.co.uk)
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
I went for one (now only 6 left when I ordered!)
I also picked up a cheapie value case, a 256Mb SD card as well as a triple pack of 60 min tapes.
I should also be able to hook this up to my DVD recorder, which is a plus.
Thanks again to the original poster!

RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
I`m going for it - but I`m wondering which accessories I need to pick up at the same time.
Any ideas?
RE: Errrr Canon Mini DV Camcorder £150 delivered (supersaver delivery)
Looks like a fantastic bargain - what`s the catch?
Always been after a decent smaillish video camera, and at 150 notes this is too tempting to pass up (particularly as it appears to be 350 - 450 elsewhere.)
RE: Index shops everything 40 - 60% off
I think that you may have missed out two important words:
"Up" & "To"
:/
RE: £10 off £50 ASDA groceries shop - first order only
Not a bad offer, but it isn`t quite as good as it first seems as you still, presumably, have to pay the £5 delivery charge (whereas their last offer was first time orderers was for free delivery.)
RE: Road Trip for £4.99
Even better, for the same price tag is
http://www2.cd-wow.com/detail_results_2.php?product_code=17095&subcat=region2
(Sorry - Netscape browser doesn`t appear to allow me to turn this to a clickable link)
It`s `Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind` for a penny under a fiver (or less!)
RE: PVR-A1 Media Centre around £80
I would love to buy an Archos gmini 400 for less than £200, but can`t find it anywhere at that price - perhaps you could point us in the right direction???
As soon as I can get one for £200 I`ll be in there . . .
RE: The Royle Family - Complete Series 1, 2 & 3 - £14.99 Delivered
You could always get the same box set £1 cheaper at www.dvdpopcorn.com
http://www.dvdpopcorn.com/DVDDetails.asp?ProductID=54026
A bargain-tastic £13.99!
`Three Colours` DVD`s - Just £7.99 each (P&P incl)
CD-Wow (www.cd-wow.com) are now offering the Region 4 issues of these films for just £7.99 each.
It appears that the discs have limited extras (ie: none at all) but if you buy DVDs for the films themselves then this has to be a bargain worth looking at.
RE: Open all hours, series 1 & 2 - 9.99 at play
Play also lists `Allo Allo (Series One)` for sale, which is in fact the three disc set that includes series 1 & 2 (despite the title.)
I think that there are going to be one or two complaints arising from the apparent incorrect description of the Open All Hours item.
RE: Open all hours, series 1 & 2 - 9.99 at play
If that is the case (ie: it`s just series one), Play are misleading their customers.
By describing an item as being all episodes from series one and two, at 390 minutes and selling a lesser version, they`re going to get some serious complaints (if this turns out to be true.)
Here`s hoping that it is both series, as at a tenner it`s a good price.
RE: I said `Just blow the bloody doors off!!!`
A note of caution - purists out there may well prefer the Region 2 release, which includes the film in its original aspect ratio of 2.35:1 (rather than the 1.85:1 aspect ratio on the Region 1 release.)
However, if you`re not bothered by this then the deal at CD-Wow sounds like a good one. Personally I`ll be buying Region 2 though!
`24` (Season One on R1) for just £1.25 per episode
The cheapest price so far (that I`ve seen) for this much anticipated six disc set is just £29.99 (incl P&P) from dvdconcept.com
http://www.dvdconcept.com/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=17882
...unless of course CD-WOW come in at a later date and manage to beat this price into oblivion (it wouldn`t be the first time!)
Incidentally, the release date is apparently Sept. 17th.
