RE: Should we intervene in Syria?

get a UN resolution then make sure its impossed by a force made up of middle eastern nations.

that way the west cant be blamed for warmongering !

Using chemical weapons is an international crime and the respective leaders should be brought before the courts.

pop3 settings for outlook android users

If like me you use the default mail client on your phone and have just upgraded your hotmail addy to outlook.

You may have issues sending and receiving emails, if you do change to the following settings

Pop 3 - pop3.live.com port 995 SSL

Smtp - smtp.live.com port 587 TLS

That`s should sort it

RE: ice cream sandwich...

I have it running on an unlocked sensation, downloaded yesterday. Seems smoother and upto now the only issue I had was updating flash player via the play store, I had to do it via a webpage,

RE: Police: Right to strike..

Here goes with my half a pound off toffee so to say....

The police are an easy target to bash, always have been always will be.....

I do believe that the Police should have the right to strike but be governed the same as nurses to provide safe minimal limits whilst undertaking any form of industrial action.

In my 20yrs NHS service and yes as a COHSE/UNISON branch Sec lives have never been at risk by industrial action.

Lives were at risk because of the cuts that the industrial action was fighting against.

Police pay is not a jolly for the average copper, I am sure as with most jobs there are a few people that milk the system and these should be dealt with, Not shafting the majority of hardworking coppers.

Just wish people would stop having that attitude of I dont get overtime so why should they.

RE: One for the taxi drivers!

I sit in my car with the windows down slurping a mug of coffee with my heater going full blast toward the windscreen whilst the engine warms. When the screen is clear and the frost has melted without scraping :) around 10-15mins I have had a few fags and a large mug of coffee woop no cold soggy hands.

Could also be your pollen filter needs changing?

RE: Serious question regarding vision and eye test etc.

I was gonna suggest opening a new cab company if I win the lotto with jimbo the pirate senior driver arrrrrrrrr :p

Now that would look great splashed on the local rags headlines

Wonder if H&S would ban a parrot in the cab????

altho a plank would come in useful for removing drunken punters whilst on the move :D

RE: Just feel Like a Whinge...3 Major cons of Life....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

some cheap assed non smoker stealing my smoke blah

RE: phone upgrade imminent

I bought the sensation when it was released. I have had no problems with it, its been an awesome phone.

I would advise getting a casemate tough cover to protect it.

I regularly get 12hrs plus use on one charge.

The only complaint I have about it is I keep picking it up to fondle it :p

I paid £499 for mine as I bought it sim free as didnt want the junk companies put on them.

I think the UI is unlocked now
