no good news I`m afrid, just to let you know your not alone. I have just purchased a GDVD134 and can not find any region hacks (yet)!

Have had a Samsung 709 player with the region hack for the past two years working with no problems.

If you have any problems with either The Matrix or Something about Mary you most likely are running an old firmware.

I have only ever used Region 1 or 2 discs so can not comment about region 3...

Region Hack for Goodmans GDVD 134

Is anyone aware of any available region hacks for the Goodmans GDVD 134 player.

Bought the unit from Dixons as a replacement for an existing Samsung 709 player. For the price it looks very good. Since installing it am very pleased with the picture and sound quality but am missing the multi-region playback that the 709 had.

Any help would be most appreciated.
