LIMIT dvd player`s....need help with macrovision!!!!
Does anyone know if there is a code or something to turn off the macrovision for the Limit DVD player? I am really getting mad with my player..also I don`t know what model number it is either because it does not say it on the front of the machine.
RE: Can anyone tell me the difference between VCD and movies on a CDR/RW?
so an original VCD is like a DVD but produced in mpeg-1 format?
ok, thanx
RE: Macrovison affecting DVD signal going directly into TV?
Hi, yes it macrovision, you get it on practically every copyright video/dvd these days. Unfortunately macrovision to my knowlegde is transported through the lines on your tv picture(the ones that usually are used by teletext signals) therefore you cannot get rid of it simply by moving around the scart or av sockets...i think you might need to put a small "sync" at the bottom of your picture, thus blocking the macrovision signal. You can find a picture enhancer machine from most electronic shops(they should have the "sync" option on them). This is all in theory..but i think it might work!!!
Can anyone tell me the difference between VCD and movies on a CDR/RW?
I have been trying to get a recording of a film to work on my friend`s LG4210 DVD player but it won`t play it, even with a remote hack for VCD`s I tried.
Could someone please tell me the difference between VCD and CDR/RW recordings...thanx
