What the best scooter for me.

I already have a yamaha 50cc bws and it`s done me well going from house to work but the thing now ,is that it`s getting a bit old now and i need a change now.
I do about 109 miles a week and need something with a bit more power.
Can anyone give any models that would do the job and price.
I live in the edinburgh area and need to know if any bike shop do h.p on scooter or price per week.

Can anyone tell me what the high and low cut switch does as the manual says a lot of tech info which means nothing to me.
I need some basic info on the subject for the stupid in mind.

RE: Changing my AV Amp

I`ve went through 4 a/v amps now.The first one was daewoo then a kenwood then on to a pioneer and now a yamaha one.
I can only say that the pioneer was very light on bass and had to use the loudness mode a lot.
My brother in law has a sony and sounds really good ,so does my yamaha in dd and dts but not great with music in stereo.
I would go for a sony or yamaha if u want good surround sound.

RE: video tapes to dvd

I was going to ask the same question too.
As i`ve have some old tapes like thundercats,jet li films uncut that u can`t get on dvd.What do i need installed as in inputs and software,etc.
Is their a type of video clean up that i can do once on my pc .Once cleaned up then onto dvd for future use.

screen problem

Last night my pc was running ok and the screen was great,but today.
The displat shows everything in 16 colours and 640x480 rather than 800x600.
Tryed to change the screen size but aftrer i apply it says use restart the computer for it take effect.
So i done this and still the screen size is wrong.check for viruses and everything seem to be ok ,but i`m loss and even now this web page look like a old c64 back in the 80`s .
Can anyone help

scooter problem

I`ve got a yamaha bws 50cc scooter that i`ve put a new exhaust on and everything seems ok at first.Today i was going to work and i go about 40mph and then the bike drops down about 35 and then back up again to 40 alomg dor a while the same thing happens again but with a backfire.To me it feels that the exhaust is causing a block.My old one never gave this of problem before .Does anyone have any idea`s.

The problem is that i`ve found that i`ve lost the oem or cd key code for the game .has anyone got a number to help if not the game is useless please help.

I`ve got a yamaha bws 50cc and i need a service manual to repair or fix my scooter and save money i:e engine,v-belt,forks,etc .I`ve tryed the web for info and bookstores but with no luck.Has anyone have any info on this subject and know any books that could help.

Thanks for the advice.my son is only 4 and i`ve lost most of my games and bits and i think it a bit much to spend on a gamecube,ps2 or xbox at that age maybe when he gets bit older .

At my local post office there was a For Sale sign in the window saying a playstation was for sale. u get a playstation ,one controler,two memory cards,a mascats stering wheel and 14 games for £50.It seems not bad as this would be for my son who does know about xbox`s and the rest. Does anyone think this is to much or should i ask less and depends on condition.

Don`t worry some dvd`s are flagged to switch to ex and some are not.If u want to know what flim has ex or dvd go on the dolby web site and u can find out whats ex encoded

What model do u have and what do make of it.I`ve got the htr-5630 model and have to say that for a samll amp it has a lot power behind it and the surround sound for dd and dts is amazing.
Maybe i should bought a yamaha at the start instead of two other crap amps before it , o`well if u don`t win try,try ,again.

Does anyone have a yamaha htr5630 amp who can tell what`s it like and how it sounds as mt cashback from richer sounds ends tomorrow and they only have that model on offer plus i could get it for £114 rather than £179 please be quick

no thats not what i mean .the cable might be getting sent to the cd part on the amp u might have to read the manual about config the setting .

if the manual says that dvd is optical there must be a way to change it to coax cable.
if nothing happens try www.avforums.com on their amp page and ask the same question as i`m sure i`ve read the same problem before.
p.s if u have any luck give me a review of the amp and how it sounds as i fancy one myself but not any reviews,plus tell me if all the features work i.e martix 6.1,silient cinema,etc.

the dvd might be on the cd setting and u might have to change it to dvd.

I saw it on dvd (not telling wherw i got it from) and liked it very much .If u take it for a no brainer then u`ll enjoy it .
p.s i think some people compaired it too much against the comic verison and thought it was rubbish .hope they make a follow up to it ,but can`t see that happening as the box office money in the u.s wasn`t that much,i think it just broke even.

The reason they sacked him was they did not like his cut of the flim and wanted more of a gore pic instead of thiller like the first one.
Schrader wanted to give the pic a back to the orgin feel and not all blood and guts.
so the money men said no way

does anyone have any reviews about this amp as it selling at r.s for £179 and need to know about it and matrix 6.1 is any good.
I need to about it`s sound,easy of use,adjustments ,etc.

Has anyone got any reveiws or had one to say what this a/v amp is like as it in r.s and seems to do lot for the money i:e dd ex,dts es etc.
I know some of their amp`s have not been that great but but this could be a different design from the past ones.

Is the black album that good in 5.1 over the cd version and i`ve read that megadeth`s peace sells album is coming to dvda as well.so come bring on more metal to dvda.
p.s the queen ghits 1 is a dvdvideo but the sound in dts is fab ,so if they can do it ,why can`nt others do it too.oh iron maiden are to released their new album on cd and dvda in september as well.

RE: Budget subs - which one to buy??

I`ve had two the frist on had i loud hum when switched on took it back to r.s got a replacement .two years later with ot a problem it blew ,asked r.s about it and got that it was not worth fixing as parts are hard to get.So i think that the interal amp is gone so i have a shell of a sub and a 6"sub speaker ,has anyone know if i culd replace the amp and fix it myself .

I`ve got three .Alice cooper`s million dollar babies and the two Queen albums anato and the game .I play them on a normal dvd player and sound great imo, compaired to the cd ones.The queen albums are great to show off your 5.1 system to your mates.
Hopeing to get elvis 1`s and rem plus tubular bells2003 when released .
They still need some big names and top albums to get people to buy over normal cd,that and where to get them plus the price.
p.s try one that u might like and give it a go .

i saw t3 last week on dvd (don`t ask where i got it),and i have to say that it blew me away.
In my opinion it`s better than t2 as a action flim goes and not to much of the boring talk cameron put in t2 .the effects are good but still did not give the open jaw look as did t2 when it came out.so roll on t4 the fall of the machine.
p.s what great ass the tx has .

On the dark horizons web page they have got the top ten us movies.
And t3 raked in for the three day weekend $44m and a total of $72.5m so i think it has done very well compair to ca2 and the hulk .Also saw that the cast has signed for 4 and 5 so when the total worldwide total comes to so many millions i think (they will be back).

The yellow track suit is the same as bruce lee in game of death and in the trailer it looked like she was surrounded by men who look like kato`s,which bruce played in the green hornet,so their may be bit and pieces from bruce and other kung fu films.

Only got two things a teac v-377 tape deck for £20 if it`s any good and a sharp md for £49.99 but forgot to buy any minidiscs for it .
The list that was printed in what hi-fi had nothing in the edinburgh store and the list they had wasn`t that great to get there at 8:00 am and wait does anyone got any reviews on the tape or md

Can`t really help with your problem but it`s that i had a proline too and it was about the same age as yours .
The problem with mine was when i was watching a dvd the player just shut down and could`nt get it to switch back and then i had to open it up to get the dvd out ,so beware of this problem.
At the end of the day i payed peanuts for mine and just got a tosh 220e mr at richer sounds to replace it .It was a great dvd player ,pity about the gold paint job on it but it`s had it`s day sorry.
P.S please,please don`t get any of the new proline`s now as their not the same as the 1000 for picture and sound quality and look very cheap as i `ve have got the 2000 model and it`s crap
