Argos & TheDVDforums

I know Argos used to be an affiliate of those forums, and for some reason didn`t give them a good deal and so the Forums threw their rattle out of the pram, and have stopped using them as an affiliate

However, can anyone rationally explain why they won`t even allow a single mention of the store`s name anymore?

For example, if someone spots a really good bargain to take advantage of at Argos, they are prohibited from letting others know about it because the forums won`t get their cut!!?

Also, a funny news story about a 49p TV & DVD player was closed because it simply mentioned Argos

I know the forums are a little bit backward in terms of their control and censorship of what you can say (heaven forbid you don`t lick Trekker`s butt) but this is a bit of a joke!

I have a canadian PSP and have played US & Japanese games no problem.

As mentioned: There is no issue with regions when playing games. Only the UMD movies.

I used them to import my PSP (around £180 delivered for the value pack inc. Gretzky) which arrived via trackable DHL in around 4 days.

I know many people have used them for consoles and games, and have not heard any complaints. They are also one of the most customs friendly import sites going.

You can change the language to English.

For good price and customs-free try VideoGamesPlus in canada - around £180 for the value pack with Gretzky delivered. Also, the US models have the updated firmware, and from the few i`ve seen an equally good quality screen.

Converting .WMA video files to .3gp so i can send them to my mobile phone?

I have the Nokia multimedia converter and a bluetooth adapter and have no trouble shrinking avi and mpg files to .3gp so i can play them on my phone (Nokia 6600)

However, it doesn`t work with .wmv files.

Is there a utility that does this?

RE: Backing up dvds using shrink and decrypter.

I use DVD decrypter to rip the DVD to my HDD

then use CloneDVD to burn it to a new Disk

It`s literally just a few clicks and the whole process is done. I haven`t had a single duff DVD yet.

I had the Jpn GC version - and have since sold it on ebay.
I have the original on the DC and its barely any different - and certainly doesn`t reflect the time taken since part 1.

Of course, if you don`t have a DC, then it`s a great game worth getting!

i have both (fifa on the cube) and couldn`t say one was that much better than the other.

they are both excellent sims, with Pro Evo having more realistic feel, but is also a bit bland. Fifa looks and plays great with the camera letting it down and a little less overall gameplay depth.

I`m stuck

I have to rescue lance and take him to the hospital. But when we get in a car and start driving I get smashed to pieces and either blow up or lance gets killed when we try to change cars

I`m starting to find the game a bit tough!
