After a lot of messing about about, i have been able to get my copy playing if, after inserting the DVD i keep pressing the menu button. It skips past the 31 seconds mark and jumps through to the main menu and it plays the whole film fine.

Hope this helps anyone else who is strugling - i know i was fuming.

Lord of the rings - The Two Towers & Warfdale 750s Problems

Just got my genuine copy of the two towers, it displays the copyright warning then freezes after 31 seconds. Have tried my sisters copy and and still getting the same problem, 31 seconds then it freezes. Can anyone help ?

Hi their, i have a Wharfdale DVD750s and have read a review on www.homecinemachoice.com that says that my machine is a Comet own brand Proline with a different chip on the motherboard. It might be worth either trying one of those hacks or trying along those lines of investigation.

Wharfdale DVD750s Hack Problems

I am from Region 2 (UK) and have hacked the player to Multiregion using the Hack as supplied on this website. It plays a region 3 Disc but the picture is "Jerky", "Jumpy" and not at all Smooth. The disc is Oceans 11. Has anybody else had simillar problems ? Can anyone help ?
