About this user: used to work in Currys as dvd/home cinema consultant and salesman. With a good few successfull home instalations and multiregion hacks (around 40, although all were handset hacks). I have now a job in dvd production.
But my stance is that ALL DVD players sold should be multiregion.

I`ll find out tonight if this hack works:
the alba 109 is a philips 634 in a different case- the hack for a philips 634 therefore works!(open tray,press 0 0 0 0 then select reg 0- verify by opening tray and pressing display.
