Page 1 of Multi-region hack for ALBA DVD 109

i found this hack after much experimenting!
1.load region 1 disc into player
2.press PLAY
3.wait for on screen display to read "WRONG REGION"
4.press DISPLAY
5.got to TC entry and enter in a time frame--the least i`ve found that works is 05secs
6.press PLAY and disc will play from entered time
7.press DISPLAY to remove top bar
8.if disc locks up or remote control buttons are inactive repeat above and press DISC MENU or SYSTEM MENU twice nb don`t press enter on disc menu screen for play or you will get a region error message.you can access chapters via display screen

Thanks but the first disc I tried (Disney`s Emperors New Groove) played the Directors commentary not the normal audio track. Pressing "Audio" didn`t help, neither going into the disc menu and turning the commentary to "off".

There must be an easier, and permanent, hack as simple as that for the 104,108 and 113/114?

Otherwise I`m swapping it for a 114.

try pressing system menu twice then going back into disc menu
every disc ive tried has played ok but i havent got emperors new groove
or other disney discs to try

I`ll find out tonight if this hack works:

the alba 109 is a philips 634 in a different case- the hack for a philips 634 therefore works!(open tray,press 0 0 0 0 then select reg 0- verify by opening tray and pressing display.

This hack works a treat !!!!!!!!
all regions play fine with it
