RE: Navman iCN-320 £164.48 inc VAT dedicated SatNav device

Also for sale today in PC World for 164.99 to walk away with! Had a play with it - fairly small in size and the buttons seem easy to navigate around with. Looks a good buy for such little money!

Looks like a great buy - it is also on amazon.co.uk for £165.99 which, if you take their free P&P option, would make it slightly cheaper - but not by much ;)

RE: Free Harvey-Danger album download !

Thanks for this - never heard of them before, but after a few times round and round it is now really growing on me! Reminds me of The Darkness in places and Ben Folds in others - quite a mixture but makes for an interesting listen and good company while working!

RE: garmin streetpilot i3 just £199 at Comet

I have one purchased for Maplin a few weeks ago. I think it is great! So small and very easy to use with full postcode searching available. It uses two AA batteries (NiMH last for ages in it), comes with in-car charger and USB cable. I have had the chance to play with a TomTom Go 700, but honestly much prefer my Garmin.

Software is available from Garmin that allows you to install custom POI databases and so most TomTom POIs can be converted to work with it. I have installed a speed camera database, 24 hour petrol stations and a few others which all work fine. Garmin standalone systems are also very well supported through many forums, so problems and questions are easily resolved.

I have found it very sturdy in the car and loud enough to hear and understand without looking down at the screen all the time - and it even fits in your pocket when you need it to! A really great buy and comes highly recommended.

RE: Cheap Broadband router/wireless network

I can personally recommend this router - I initially had a (more expensive) Netgear ADSL modem/router but it gave me no end of problems and I eventually decided to trust the PC Pro raving review and have not looked back. It is easy to set up, but gives plenty of scope for changing everything easily. The wireless gives a much stronger, faster (and steady) connection both up and downstairs and I can work on my laptop anywhere in the house now!

Just goes to prove that sometimes you can spend less and get more for your money :D

RE: Bargain? Medion Titanium MD8386 @ Aldi

It apparently also says `whisper quiet due to AIR XL heat pipe coller and SpeedStep` - will this make a big difference to noise levels? Would like to know if anyone has managed to get hold of one of these yet - it looks good on paper for that price!

RE: The Nokia 7600 hokey-cokey - now back on CPW site (£44.99)

I`ve received confirmation that my 7600 has been shipped, should arrive today! My email states cost of Nokia at £29.99 and voucher at £15 so all is looking good for the deal being the same as before. Looking forward to getting this phone unlocked and reset!

RE: The Nokia 7600 hokey-cokey - now back on CPW site (£44.99)

Happy to use your affiliate link and huge thanks for tip!

Have ordered one quickly, but wonder whether this will also include the £15 top-up as before, making it better value than the Amazon deal on first glance? We`ll wait and see!

RE: Unvelievable THX PC speaker bargain, please look in!!!....

I am really happy with these speakers! They hooked up to my DVD player (Pioneer 444) in no time at all using the coaxial digital output and sound incredible for the money. Does anybody know if there are any cables out there to extend the main speakers to the subwoofer on the ADA885? They are just a little too short to sit on either side of my setup! Other than that, a great buy and well worth getting. :)
