RE: Wharfedale 750 remote multi-region hack and RCE
I have an original early DVD 750 - a copy of the Patriot and the new chip from DVDChips.co.uk.
The chip arrived today and I have now fitted it and watched the Patriot all the way through.
The hardest bit about this whole thing was forcing myself to watch all of the Patriot.
Panic over everyone - we can all go back to sleep now.
RE: Just ordered the Patriot from US to test on the newest 750S
The Patriot DOES NOT WORK on the original DVD 750 and I have just received a very expensive drinks coaster in the post.
RE: Cyber Home Player - £129 but is it hackable?
Wonder what the Patriot thinks of this hack - you know RCE and all that.
Looks like Mel really is out to screw us Brits over after all.
RE: Cyber Home Player - £129 but is it hackable?
Jumped the gun a bit there - I think i`ve just found this info on the site - but is the WH Smith model the "AD-N 212" featured in the database?
Cyber Home Player - £129 but is it hackable?
WH Smith are selling the "Cyber Home" DVD Player for £129.
This is all well and good but would be even better if it could be made multi-region from a remote hack. - Anyone got any info on this player?
