RE: The Ultimate Matrix Collection - £36.99 delivered - Region 2

RE: Vodaphone Anytime 1000 sim for just £29.99 - buy one get one free offer

Date`s on cheques dont mean a thing, I once postdated a cheque since the funds wern`t available in my accountright away. Three days later the money came out my account, phoned up the bank and they said that the date dont mean a thing.

Try paying in the cheques straight away if your worried, only problem with doing that is you might bust the company and naff it up for everyone else.

You might wanna check with the bank first as it may be different for a company cheque but I doubt it.

RE: Artec 12x Dvd Dual R/RW Burner ( £64.99 )

I`m pretty sure they have always been described as dual writers if they do +/- perhaps I`m going mad though!

For dual layer it`ll say DL, so the description for an 8x dual format dual layer writer will be:

8x DVDRW Dual DL

Although beware as these writers can only write to dual layer discs @ 2.4x at the moment.

RE: £50 for 1 yr on Vodafone 200 anytime / network type of tariff

Yeah man, Sim only packs have been going for years.

Of the "Line Rental" that you pay if you have a contract from a shop about 90% of that is actually paying for your phone. Thats why every twelve months on contract your entitled to a new phone from your provider for free.

Swings and roundabouts as to whether you go for a Sim only pack and buy a phone, for t`other way round.

but you don`t have the right to a refund.....

I`m pretty sure that anything you buy if your not happy with it you are entitled to a refund, provided the condition you return the item in meets the refund criteria of the store your returning the item to. There are some obvious exceptions to this rule with certain products, however in general that is what I work to. I have never had any trouble returning an item I have not been happy with. For this company 7 days seems a bit short although they are probably factoring in delivery time there and back, as I thought the standard statuatory rights of the consumer was 14 days to return a product if not 100% happy with the purchase.

Whether I`m 100% right on the above I cannot say, however as I explained above I have never had a problem before.

RE: Morse collection 33 DVDs reduced to £99

I think it is quite clear from their site that they come on individual DVD`s rather than in one boxset.

Should be able to get a refund though, as with anything it`s your right. Although I`m sure you`ll have to pay for the postage back which for 33 DVD`s must be a bit :/

Out of interest why are you bothered about the box they all come in, your saving £80 on there Morse set in the box @ £180
