RE: Which DVD Player to Buy

Bush 2023 from Virgin £69 plays DVD-RW

Help!! calling Panasonic dmr-e60 users

Not sure what i am doing wrong, but i can`t seem to get the time-slip feature to work.
I have tried watching a pre-recorded program on the dvd-ram whilst taping another off sky but when i press the direct navigator button on the remote nothing comes up on the screen.

Also can`t get the time slip to work when recording a program, it comes up on the front of the player but again no menu on the screen.

Help, what am i doing wrong? Have i connected it up incorrectly? Please help!!

Is anything a `limited edition` anymore?

I remember years ago `limited edition` meant get it on the day of release or via pre-order or you missed out. However now everything seems to be mass produced. Thinking of titles like -

The book of the dead - Evil Dead
Battle Royale - Tin edition
LOTR - boxset
Dancer in the Dark - boxset to name just a few

Maybe I`m just confusing `limited edition` with Special Edition, in that case is anything ever Limited?

RE: LOTR The Two Towers

I was on holiday in New York last weekend and was excited to see The Two Towers for sale early in the smaller independent shops, I also bought the Simpsons series 3.
