Help!! calling Panasonic dmr-e60 users

nightswimmer (Harmless) posted this on Wednesday, 27th August 2003, 17:32

Not sure what i am doing wrong, but i can`t seem to get the time-slip feature to work.
I have tried watching a pre-recorded program on the dvd-ram whilst taping another off sky but when i press the direct navigator button on the remote nothing comes up on the screen.

Also can`t get the time slip to work when recording a program, it comes up on the front of the player but again no menu on the screen.

Help, what am i doing wrong? Have i connected it up incorrectly? Please help!!

When your recording something...just press play & it will play, if it`s the same as the E50

On the E50 there is a little red ring of dots that go round clockwise when recording & an inner ring of white dots that go round when playing back. If yours is the same are the two going round together when recording & playing back (mine does) . Longer shot, is your scart connected correctly. Have you done anything in the setup. Lastly phone Panasonic, they are really helpfull.
