RE: 7" Portable DVD Player £69.99 WHSmith instore

My chum just bought portable DVD player from Somerfield for £50something....I paid £90, so both good bargains.

RE: BARGAIN GARDEN SHREDDER!

Sounds a great deal!!

I spent 2 hours driving over to Hounslow and the Feltham only to find this is a bin-end from Summer and only available at particular (unspecified) store(s), not these two. Also, Aldi don`t post phone numbers on the web which doesn`t help. :(

Oh to live near Brum again!

Happy Shredding!!

RE: Cheap Car CD/MP3 Player anyone?

I am including this in case anyone else is looking for a CD player for the car.

I recently bought a portable CD player (not MP3) (Hitachi DAP 771) from Currys for around £27.99 - half price. It came with a car kit (so you would need a cassette player), speakers (uses the car ones in the car, but useful if you want to play elsewhere), car power and normal electric power leads, headphones and speakers.

RE: WH Smiths Half Price Sale - don`t give up!

The DVDs/CDs may be disappointing but if you are into painting, want to stash kids birthday presents or to tidy your study with themed boxes/stationery there are masses of bargains to be had.

Has anyone a better price for the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX (967300-0120) Keyboard than £75?

I have been trying to track this down but can only find it for £44 (967231-0127) same keyboard as the MX but it comes with a more primitive mouse. If there is no cheaper price but someone has a voucher/promotion number for DAB, Amazon etc that I could use to get it cheaper, please let me know.

Thanks for your help

Sal

RE: High back Leather chairs £ 29.99 + V.A.T

Thanks Oscar, but I must be doing something wrong. The switch on the right hand side is marked V-L (Video??), V-H and UHF - I have tried playing a video on all 3 settings - just in case (with the function switched to TV as opposed to the radio settings), but all I hear is the sound but no picture. Any more ideas, adjust the hold ?? Plays my camcorder fine and also TV.

RE: High back Leather chairs £ 29.99 + V.A.T

Hey, have not long received my fantastic leather chair which is adjustable and looks really good :)

I also received a free small B&W telly with my order which has video and audio sockets, but although I`ve been able to use my camcorder with it (perfick!) I have not been able to `see` video - just hear it. :/ I have tried my leads every which way but still the same result - has someone got the free telly with their chair and managed to connect it to a video recorder satisfactorily? If so, please let me know where I`m going wrong so that I may try again.

Many thanks :)
