A bloody good buy - Dont stop to dither, its MR, plays nearly everything I have ever thrown at it.

HMMM actually it has played everything I have ever thrown at it.

Ok, that`s secured my mind. Now, if I can find one...

One question, can you buy spare batteries? I have been looking to buy a 7" portable for a while now, and was set on the Goodmans GDVD67W3LCDK for £100. But this Cyberhome seems a right bargain. I have two reasonably large Smiths stores near me (although both on the opposite side of me, so it`s quite a long trip between :p ).

Cheers Rassilon :)

Batteries may be obtainable from Pulse in Wales, last year I bought a spare 4 hour one from Amazon for £55 & had it delivered to friends in the US, ready for me to collect on arrival.

Guess where I`m going in August. ;)

I paid about £250 + £80 Ext Warr for mine (same box just badged as MP Man) in Dixons November 2003, the CH was up at Richer Sounds for £310 + £20 Ext Warr (Do the maths).

Seen about 12 varients of this box (one with really poor build quality - Typhoon in Staples £99 last October), last seen price for the CH in WHS was a reduction to £125.

As a clearance price its fantastic VFM in anyones book. Especially as I think Personal Media Players may be the new big thing to replace them*.

*Says he currently toying with DVD conversion\file sizes to play on his Tapwave.

Seems the price is £60 some places, but £70 at others. Still, seems a bargain either way.
