i joined blockbuster a few months ago.during the trial period,i was getting 3 dvds from the top of my list as soon as i returned the last 3.this is on the £14.99 `unlimited`rental per month.however,once the trial ended,so did the flow of dvds.despite having nearly 80 on my list,they have just took my subscription and supplied 1 dvd this week from the bottom of my list.to test them out,have started another account with an identical list and guess what,loads of dvds from top of the list.complained through several e mails and best response is a cursory couple of dvds from low on the list and the suggestion to add more dvds to the list then nothing.this is despite them saying `keep 20 on your list to ensure a steady flow of titles`.funny,always take the money on time though.

i live in coventry and work just around the corner from their factory.its about a mile from the ricoh arena,j3 m6.they filmed a xmas special there and the producers must have seen enough quirky behaviour to bring them back in a series.he just reminds me of gollum.

hdcp stands for high bandwith digital copy protection.not so much to do with dvds as a copyright transmitted with hd broadcast to prevent people making hi-def copies of their material.shoudn`t affect your dvd playback.

hi jackal,i have the tosh 350 hooked up to a tosh 52" dlp.this is my impression so far.hdmi can give a stunning picture if you input top video e.g gladiator or raiders but there are a couple of drawbacks;the booklet warns you of `some loss of colour` which does become quite evident sometimes,looking faded,red becomes brown,its quite noticable.also on hdmi,you can`t alter the aspect on the tv,thus,when i watched titanic,the picture was very narrow and everyone looked short and wide.i now watch through component,much better.on a lot of dvd`s,the picture is no better than my `cheap` sony.it is multi region but the rce feature is not good,r1 xxx was virtually unwatchable.finally,it is very fussy with dvd-r etc.some will not load,others will play up during playback although fine on my sony.sorry to put a damper on it but i waited ages to get this player when it was released but was a bit disappointed with it.best hdmi upscaling player is supposed to be the denon (see av forums)but then its a lot dearer.

after several failed attempts to buy second hand versions of leon international on ebay,ordered it from korean and got the 2 disc set-international on one and theatrical on the other in a really smart digi-pack for £11.50 delivered in about 10 days.very pleased with them.they were selling all the superbit titles for about $6 us.

my pond is roughly the same size.your biggest enemy is sunlight,this creates the green algae so it helps if you can provide partial shade.i fitted a `green genie` combined filter and uv unit fed from a pump-capacity about 400 litres per hour.site the pump at the opposite end of the pond to the filter to create flow across the surface.don`t site it on the pond floor as it will clog up too fast as it sucks debris up.instead,i place it about 6" to 12" off the bottom depending how deep your pond is.lose the fine sponge filter as you end up cleaning it everyday.i use one of those round nylon scourers instead.oxygenating weed,so i have heard,doesn`t provide oxygen,it actually competes for it with the fish,but what it does is break down the harmful nitrates in the water.lilies provide good cover for the pond.when i top up,i try to use rainwater,tapwater contains a lot of chemicals that promote blanketweed etc.if you have to use it,either add a conditioner or leave it to stand in a container for a day or two.i`m no expert but i hope this is of some use.
