I really hate seeing people open crisps upside down and just wondered if I am the only one.

Usually standing on my head. 8)

One sure-fire way to annoy my wife is to open your crisp packet `upside-down`.

So, of course, that`s what I regularly do!

I don`t do it deliberately (honest), but I never bother checking before opening the packet so it just depends on which way it was when I picked it up.

Not usually bothered but theres one specific reason I open crisps upside down.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

There`s people dying of starvation in the world and we`re worried about which way up our crisp packets are!?!

I always open them up the right way, as I do with tins, packets, boxes etc. Gives me a funny turn if I`ve opened the Jaffa Cakes or anything else upside down!

I am the same sue. But what end do you open say........a mars bar. Begining or end of word.

That`s a good question!

I treat it the same as a DVD amaray box. Put to one side, a DVD has the text going down from top to bottom (Once in a while some stupid designer does it the other way so the text runs the wrong way with all the others on the shelf >:( )

So therefore I open a Mars bar from the M end. Simple! ;)

I open the bag at the top, then split it down one side to make the crisps easier to get at for one and all.
