RE: lg dr275

I have tried both of the suggested hacks here, the one with the drawer and the button on the remote did nothing, the 8 zero`s entered gave access to two letters, currently set to GB, what do these need to be altered to to make the unit multi-regional? I tried a variety, such as MU, CA, US etc but no change, it would still only play Region 2 discs.

Any further detailed information on this would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

RE: MICO Espejo R311. DVD Recorder. I have one. First thoughts.

Thanks for the reply, I did take the unit back to Sainsbury`s and changed it to-day, the new unit is exactly the same. Since I collect old valve radios MW useage is important to me, I am going to try earthing the unit, if that doesn`t work then I`ll just have to plug the unit in when I wish to record on to DVD and then un-plug it again. When I asked the next door neighbours it also blotted out their radio (again MW). Very odd!

RE: MICO Espejo R311. DVD Recorder. I have one. First thoughts.

I also bought one of these from Sainsburys, the recorder itself works superbly in both recording and playback, it also plays region 1 disks perfectly.

I did however find one serious problem, when connected up the player blocks out all Medium Wave radio transmissions all over the house, all I could pick up was interference, when I removed the RF leads and SCART leads from the unit the problem went away. I phoned the tech support people who had no idea what caused this to happen, I am taking the unit back to Sainsbury`s to-day to change it for another one, hopefully this will resolve the problem, if not any ideas anyone?
