Maybe if anyone knows a 2nd hand shop/market where they do cheap CD`s and/or replications of, might be a good place 2 pick up bargin DVD`s.

Does anyone no any decent markets in the London and/or Redaing area where you can purchase DVD`s, new or 2nd hand, for a reasonable price?

I heard murmers of a half decent one in South London, Waterloo or Victoria I can`t remember.

If anyone knows would they be kind enough to inform us of the day, time & place where it is held.

Also if anyone has been to some dodgy markets, where DVD`s turn out 2 be VCD`s etc, then pleae warn the rest of us.

Come on help us save a bob or 2.

40 quid sounds good for all channels, but which market did you get it from?

Was it in the London or Reading Area, if not do you no where I can get 1 from down here?

Also how do you no it will still work once the word gets around and Ondigital start playing around with the frequencies, or whatever else?

Play are fantastic, for 2 disc sets!

Used them to order Fight Club @ 3 on Friday afternoon, and recived the discs on Tuesday morning(& yes via Belgium!). Also not a jot in charges from customs.

Their 2+ disc set prices are very similar 2 if you order from the states/canada, give a pound or 2, and u`ll be hard pushed to get customs charges. Also some companies in the states/canada will charge you P&P for 2 DVD`s, as a 2 disc set weight approx. the same as 1.5 DVD`s. So I`d rather order my sets from play and avoid any nasty suprises.

But for single discs they are still overpriced compared to DVD BO, A&B & the like, even after postage charges.

Good question about the Warfie/Lecson.

I was thinkin of getting the Cambridge M1+ from Richer Sounds. Is this remote compatible with the Lecson, and if so is it any good. I suspect that batteries wouldn`t last very long with the size of the screen on it.

I also saw a Sony remote in RS for about the same price, again does this work with the Lecson & is it any good?

Finally if both of these fail does anyone know if Omni-remote on the Plam Pilot will work with the Lecson?

Personally I prefer the 2 disc version cos of the cool packaging.

Yes they said, providing we can phone them to check that they have it in stock. So I had a look around the website and could only find an address but no phone number.

Where can u download a full working version, not a demo, of Audiograbber 4 free?

I`ve heard that the Lecson only likes CBR @ 196kbps, is this true?
If so what is the best program to use for the Lecson?

Also can Audiograbber copy from protected disks and do any other type of burning, as i want to bak up my PSX games library.
If not what is the best program in this case?

Where can u get a full copy, not a demo, of Nero 5 from the net. I`d prefer just 1 complete download rather than a demo plus a crack if poss.

I mainly want to burn mp3`s on2 CD-R. But is there any particular way you have burn them on 2 the CD so that the players can read them i.e. directories, sessions, etc.

Also now that you mention it i could do with burning from CD 2 mp3, is there any software that will do a decent job of this?

Is there no crack 4 Nero so that u can make it last longer than 30 days?

I know about the firware upgrade stuff, but have heard that it can freeze up the player sometimes(like the old flash back method for macro disable),and so prefer 2 have it already on. I want to have it for more than one day before i have to ring Encore to unfreeze it.

I`m actualy in Reading at the mo, where its also 169.99, but got mates in Notts who can pik it up 4 me.

I`ve also rang the Derby & Brum branches who r still doin them 4 150. Wat the hell is goin on???

I keep hearing Amazon are doin this player for 169.99, but i can`t seem to find it on the site. I have searched for hours checking every single section with, but can only find the pages referring to the DC bundle.

Does anyone know how much Encore 450`s are @ Gamestation?

After posting a thread on the hardware forum I got told that they were displayed in the Birmingham @ 150 quid. But when i rang the Nottingham branch to confirm this they told me they were 169.99!

Does anyone know how much they are supposed to be selling them for?
I even calculated 150 & VAT(@17.5%) and it still comes to more than 170, so guess it cant be the VAT.

Can anyone who`s bought this player from Gamestation confirm the price?
Also if you have purchased one from here what firmware version was installed on it, 3.3e i hope?

Also does anyone no bout the situation on refunds replacements and cover generally from Gamestation, is it any good?

A bit off the subject now but does anyone have the Firmware upgrade so the "problem discs" can be played i.e. Toy Story disc 3, etc... I`ve heard that these discs are only a problem if bought on R2 but play fine if they r R1 versions, is this true?

Lecson Pin 8 & Anamorphic w/s DVD`s

I heard on another forum that pin 8 on the Lecson 900(& Warfie) have no output, and therefore can`t handle switching to w/s on anamorphic DVD`s.
Is this true?

So from what i understand if i get a anamorhpic w/s DVD i`ll have 2 change it manualy to w/s, if at all possible on the Lecson, or it just won`t do w/s on these DVD`s.
Which is correct, or am i miles off the mark?

I i`ve only just bought a DVD player, and a copy of the Matrix.
Since the Matrix`s release i keep on hearing about a "white rabbit" bit(a secret extras menu i think) and want to no how to access it.

Can any one out there help?
