mp3 burning

I have heard that the best software for burning mp3 files is Nero 5.

I have a Encore and my mate has a Lecson, is the the best sofware to use for both? If not, what is best for which player?

Also is the burning method the same for both players?

Can you download Nero 5, full version, from anywhere for free or do i have to buy the program?

What I can say about nero is that you can download a trial version at www.nero.com, which is the nero` site.
This version works during 30 days without restrictions.

It`s a vry good program form sure. However I don`t think it does something different from other burning software when you want to burn mp3 files on a CD-R. There is nothing particular in this matter.

However if your concern is to encode mp3 files, from an audio-cd for example, this a very different matter. What do you want to do ?

Thanx for that,

I mainly want to burn mp3`s on2 CD-R. But is there any particular way you have burn them on 2 the CD so that the players can read them i.e. directories, sessions, etc.

Also now that you mention it i could do with burning from CD 2 mp3, is there any software that will do a decent job of this?

Is there no crack 4 Nero so that u can make it last longer than 30 days?

Thanx 4 the help m8.

Its a matter of choice , Nero is a good program ( good for copy protected discs as well as other formats such as VCD)

But as for burning ISO discs , the are all pretty much the same.

To burn mp3`s on a CD to play them as mp3`s on a (working) SCAN player for example, you can use almost any CD Burner S/W because you just create a normal data CD with the mp3`s as data files. Eg. You could burn say 100 mp3`s as 100 data files.

However, what you really need is a program to manage and burn the mp3`s because you can burn so many onto 1 CD. I have found MusicMatch 6 to be the best available to do this. It is free for the basic version available at www.musicmatch.com. This will burn playlists as either audio OR data tracks. It can be a bit buggy on some systems though.

Yes, you can use any current CD-Burning software anyway.
For easily accessing the files on a DVD player it`s better to create a folder for each album you`ll want to have on your CDR.

In order to transfer from CD-Audio to Mp3 I can suggest you Xing Audio-Catalyst , which can get the titles automatically from CDDB, can use the VBR type of compression (which is better than the usual Constant bitrate compression), and is very quick even at its higher quality settings.

I would also suggest trying Audiograbber. Its quick, friendly, and as you should expects connects to CDDB. Would not do without it!

Also, check out MP3CD Maker www.zy2000.com

Totally faultless for making your mp3 collection available to play on your home/car stereo!

Nero`s main advantage is that it preserves file names more accuratly for display on the DVD menus. This is certainly true for the LG 3550 and X-Wave 1000K. Just select the ASCII option in the CD properties dialogue.
