Try the Thomson DTH-3300 hack it works on the 511, 611 & 811 (not everyone`s had 100% success with these 3 models)

Nope, switch on the player (with no disc in), when the `No Disc` appears and the DVD logo is onscreen.

On the remote, press the `Repeat` button , let go, Press `3` button and release, etc

After the second 7 you should get a 2 digit number in the top corner of your screen. Press 9 on the remote for multiregion.

Then on the player press the open/close button (the tray should pop out)

Then on the remote press the Power button (the tray should retract and the player switch off)

The worst delivery time from A&B I`ve had was 9 days (out of 35 orders, dispatched as in excess of 60 packages) most come through in under 5 working days from posting.

They can be a little slow to get the stuff from their warehouse to the post room, but they`re my R1 retailer of choice. Of course others may have a different experience - this is just mine.

The `free` delivery at DVDBO is paid for by inflated disc prices - take a look at http://www.absound.ca - they`re usually cheaper (even when you take the carriage into account) and in my experience a lot more reliable.

Yes it`s region free - or you can set it to be any region you wish so you get the best of both worlds - in fact the 511 appears to work with current RCE discs even in multi-region mode - but if/when that changes then just cold start and hack again......

As far as problems with the 511 - the remote is a bit fiddly & small for my personal liking, but other than that none at all.
