Page 1 of what is best site to buy ***region 1 titles***

i have been looking for the best site to buy region 1 titles from,up to now the best i can find is dvdboxoffice.com which offers free delivery.
would like to know others.

Try http://www.play247.com - based in Jersey. Can be a little bit expensive, but it`s worth comparing their prices with others.

They do send all orders via Recorded Delivery, which is A Good Thing(TM).

much better than PLAY247.......i receive my DVD`s 2 days after placing an order.......

They dont come recorded delivery...but at least when I`m not in the Postman doesnt take them back to the depot (doh!)......

oh...and they are the cheapest that i`ve found...

I agree with Allan, I have used WWW.FUTUREENT.COM for all my region 1 DVD`s to date. I have never had a problem yet and I must have ordered 15 - 20 region 1 DVD`s, their service and choice are excellent.

Put it this way, you can order a DVD late on Sunday night and if they have it in stock it will be delivered by Tuesday morning. They are based way down South and I live up here in East Yorkshire.

The `free` delivery at DVDBO is paid for by inflated disc prices - take a look at http://www.absound.ca - they`re usually cheaper (even when you take the carriage into account) and in my experience a lot more reliable.

I tend to use dvdempire.com and express.com. They are both american sites but the postage isn`t expensive and they are quite cheep.

Are www.absound.ca reliable to deliver to the uk??

The worst delivery time from A&B I`ve had was 9 days (out of 35 orders, dispatched as in excess of 60 packages) most come through in under 5 working days from posting.

They can be a little slow to get the stuff from their warehouse to the post room, but they`re my R1 retailer of choice. Of course others may have a different experience - this is just mine.
