V+ box £75

New or existing customers, the HiDef V+ box with built in PVR is now £75.

I just booked mine in, no changes to existing service, just the one off fee.

Apologies if this has been up before, I did a search on V+ and didnt find anything so thought Id mention it.

go for the shure`s if you can afford em.

I`ve got the E4C (I had the 5s but they were a pain in the ass to put on n take off) with the triple flange which literally seals your ear up. The sound is unreal and you can hear bits of the music you didnt even know were there before.
But - they cost a fair whack.

The e2cs are their cheapest, and theyre really nice too, go for them if youre on a smaller budget.

Triple flange earphones are the way forward tho fella.

I needed a copy of my terms n conditions, as they hadnt given me a copy when I signed up, and they were trying to hold me to something which I swore wasnt in the terms n conditions. I kept telling them to send me a copy or I wouldnt pay, they kept saying they would send it but didnt, so I didnt pay. It got to the point where the bailiffs were to come knocking on my door.

In the end I just paid up, very angrily.

Fiancees aunty bought her parents a plasma tv from there 15 months ago, came with 3 year manufacturers warranty.

Tv packed up the other week. Contacted the manufacturer - sorry love, they werent meant to be selling that set in the first place. Service engineers havent been paid, so we`re not honouring it.

ebuyer in the states has closed due to similar practices.

I`m guessing this could be the guy, in his bank robber guise, pre-becoming the actual `Joker`.
I.e., the fact that he has that wound making him look like he is permanently smiling goes someway to giving him the Joker identity when whatever it is in this moive pushes him that way.

When Ledger was chosen, I just thought - wrong. He doesnt have anything like the right look for the part.
Shoulda been either Crispin Glover or Paul Bettany imo.

But - this picture has given me a lot of hope for Ledger now.

Hoping to see Scanner this weekend, so its great to see so many positives said about it.

For me, Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 was out of this world. I could have watched it 3 times just for the character design alone.
I hadnt had such a thrill from a set of villains since those skeletons rose up out of the floor in Jason & The Argonauts.

The same thing happens to my fiancees Vaio. Sussed it in the end that it is the battery causing it on hers. When we plugin in the power supply and leave it switched on at the wall, all works well. Run from the battery and that starts to happen.

Lampard should be fighting for a place on the subs bench from now on.
A great club player does not a great England player make. We have seen this plenty of times in the past - John Barnes for example, Lampard was shockingly bad through the whole world cup.
All he did was use up a space Lennon should have been filling.

Beckham`s passing was inch perfect the whole tournament, Lampard did sweet f.a.

I don`t think Sven did that much wrong in his time as manager. Sure he made a bad choice taking Walcott and not using him, and sticking with that unworking formation was bad, but other than that he has done an admirable job.

I hope McLaren does a good job, but I can`t help feel that he is just a stop gap manager that is in the job until someone the nation really "loves", ie Stuart Pearce, is ready for the role.

The result of the game was less important than any other game we`ve played or going to play and he didn`t use the opportunity to see what he could do. Seems crazy to me.

He risked Gerrard and Crouch picking up a 2nd yellow card, and now Theo is going to have to be dropped in at the deep end of the knockout stages without any match experience.

I know this guy used to do them, worth checking. I bought the singing gizmo from him.

Word of warning - he took AGES getting my gizmo to me, but that was because I had to wait for him to build a cage. Hopefully if he has them you wont have that wait as youre just getting the toy.

Hi Guys

Do any of you use some software that lets you easily generate a catalogue of your DVDs ?

I know theres a number of library titles out there, like DVD Profiler, Movie Collector etc etc, but do any of them let you easily generate a printable catalogue ?

I`d like to create myself a paper catalogue, with like a printout of the cover and small movie synopsis for all the dvds I own, and just wondered if there was any easy way of doing it ?

Apologies if this has been asked a million times, did a bit of searching and couldnt find any obvious answer.

Has anyone watched this yet ??

I got mine yesterday, and am just looking at it now and it looks like the 29 deleted scenes are just on a separate disc and not put back into the film.

I`ll be absolutely gutted if this is the case.

On his Abyss and T2 discs, he used the seamless branching option to either put the scenes back into the film or not depending on the choice you took. If he hasnt done this on his biggest film of all time then Cameron needs his head read.

Anyone ??

One Touch Backup 3.5" HDD Enclosure ?

I`ve seen that you can buy external USB2 hard discs, which are a normal IDE drive inside an enclosure, with a one-touch button which handles your backing up for you when you press it.

Question - Does anyone know if you can buy just the enclosure part with this functionality and put your own HDD in ?

Ordered a 1gig Memory Stick Duo ultra 2 from them on the wednesday, having been told it would be with me on the Friday.

Friday it doesnt arrive, I call, am told it will be in Monday.
Call Monday, not in, told it will be in Tuesday.

Call Tuesday, am told its in, and being shipped to me that night.

Doesnt arrive Wednesday, call Wednesday am told by someone else that theyve not been in yet, that whoever I spoke to the day before must have "assumed from the shipping notes they were in, but got it wrong."
Am told by manager that I will get a refund. Go buy the card elsewhere, it arrives the very next day.

1 week later Info tech still have not refunded the money, the manager is still insistant the refund is happening. Credit card company have no sign of it.

So its still ongoing - but in short - bunch of incompetent idiots - stay away from em.

I always liked The Magic Finger by RD.

A good recommendation if you like RD books is Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. Very Dahl like, I remember really enjoying that one as a kid.
