Tiger Woods 2003 [PC] - details please

I have got this via ebay (and its on its way) - can someone please tell me what you get - how many disks and if it needs a serial no. where is it written?

Thanks alot - seller has 100% rating so I hope its all above board.

Fawlty Towers (R2) Boxset - is there gonna be problems on the AIWA 370?

Fawlty Towers (R2) Boxset - is there gonna be problems on the AIWA 370?

I have heard of problems with the 2 single disks which have come out.

Can please someone advise - I have FT Boxset on order with amazon.

AIWA 370 - A very good DVD & CD player, but there are issues.

1) I have on order the Fawlty Towers boxset (r2) - am i going to have problems with this?

2) If dvds have any scratches, then the AIWA is not forgiving at all.

3) I have The Abyss (R4) and it was working fine - but now the main film disk is gone beserk, the menu system just judders around really badly, i can manage to get the film working - but if it will now cope with the seamless branching, i am unsure.

Anyone identify with any of these?

RE: Abyss

so does the R4

go to www.ezydvd.com.au

us the currency converter.

RE: Can anyone help me find Sydney 2000 Openign Ceremony DVD please?!

ask some one to buy it for you with a credit card or debit card.

come on you must know someone - or failing that - get one they are fairly useful - i only have a debit card, not a credit card.

Sky Digital - sky view on video recordings?

Are you supposed to get sky view appear on a video recording when the select key is pressed (it appears on screen).

RE: Sky Digital - Videoplus confusion

So i should type in videoplus, then when it says channel not defined, try and push a button to define AV2 channel?

I went for sky digital (unsubscribed) cos are aerial is knackered and our reception is not very clever anyway. Cost £80, once you get someone to come and look at aerial etc. i thought that sky digital guranteed a result.

Not being able to tape a channel and watch other side (other digital channel) is a bit annoying - can this be done on ONdigital?

Anyway On digital would of not worked i doubt - cos it goes thru aerial.

Sky Digital - Videoplus confusion

i typed in a sky videoplus no. into the VCR, it comes up with a time and says channel not defined. (The channel is the AV channel).
Any ideas?

Also is there PDC on BBC1 etc. on Sky Digital

RE: Stuart Little R2 and Aiwa 370

I have watched this film on my AIWA 370 with no problems.

But reading your other posting, my setup is set to PAL and PSEUDO PAL IS ON (for R1 discs, works fine for these, no jerkiness).

But it could depend on your TV, mine is a 5 year old samsung mono (21" FST). I also have scarts connected and s-video on for a crisper picture.

NTSC or PAL, I am not convinced with NTSC on R1 disks

Can I have some comments on what is best NTSC or PAL?

I am not convinced with NTSC. I have a region 1 Aliens, but I think it looked better on the region 2 disk (PAL).

Hasn`t NTSC got less lines?

I am using a AIWA 370 on a UK TV obviously.

Its OK to say that R1 disks often have more extras, but I want the best picture.

Aardman Classics - white lines on Wat the Pig?

Is there anyone out there who has purchased this title?

Have you noticed any white lines on the Wat the Pig anim?

Please help.

RE: Jaws 3, you can still see the 3D fx?

Jaws 3, you can still see the 3D fx?

Yeah I know the film is pants.

But if you watch it with those red and green glasses, you still can see the 3D fx, anyone agree?

RE: Well guys, I`ve had enough of this crap in the postings!

"you arrived on this forums as a troll nice to see you may be going as one too"

Speak in english.

Look at ebay, they may have some brain cells up for a bid.

Anyway, cant be bothered with this now.

:-)

I only fought once with you bfore, you won! So I give in.

RE: Well guys, I`ve had enough of this crap in the postings!

A bit of light humour, to raise perhaps a smile.

and Ironduke, does what he normally does........

I picture Jabba the Hut sitting in front of a PC, nuff said.

RE: Well guys, I`ve had enough of this crap in the postings!

Jimbo

I would call my reply light humour.

Look elsewhere to see slagging off in action.

Okay, I will not take a shot at anyone.

Aiwa 370 rocks!!! (well so what, cos you aint gonna get one, they are non-existent, nothing to talk about really, the best I can recommend is LG 3350 @ Currys £250, don`t know what else to recommend, eh I will start another thread!!!!!!!!!!!).

RE: Well guys, I`ve had enough of this crap in the postings!

I agree to what you say Jimbo.

But if we agree Ironduke will have nothing to do.

He must be on these forums all day, if he gets bored I suspect he lowers himself to actually watching a DVD.

So i think we need to help him find others things to do, bfore ending his hobby so suddenly.
