Yeah, but lucky punches going beyond the amount of strength you`re fighting with? That`s the thing that really gets to me - how was I hit harder than he could hit?

Explain this to me. How did he manage to hit me with more strength than he`s actually got? He didn`t use any tactics, so didn`t increase strength. How did he manage to get any hits in when I had almost double the dexterity he had?

You`ve no need to worry when fighting the top gremlins, as you`ll pickup points regardless of what they`ve been spending their XP on. On some, like Captain Squarepants and PrufrockReturns, you probably won`t get a hit in, but you are guaranteed to pick up at least 15 points just for fighting gremlins so much higher in stats than you.

The problem really starts to show when you challenge the middle rank gremlins who have put everything into dexterity, with hardly anything on stamina or strength. When you fight them, you won`t get much in the way of XP and you won`t get any hits in.

Come on, People! Challenge me and PrufrockReturns. You`re guaranteed a lot of points no matter which one of us you fight. PrufrockReturns also offeres a higher chance of the fight being longer and you`re more likely to win right now, due to low strength.

Stat - Pru`s still working stamina right now, as she appears to keep losing to middle ranked gremlins!

Stat, check out PrufrockReturns - she`s a fairly naff gremlin, but she`s currently ranked 4th in the league. The thing to really notice about her is her age. She`s got LOADS of time left. She`s only 13 days old!!

Me? One now - PrufrockReturns was originally Pru (account Prufrock). Unfortunately, I went on holiday so was unable to play Pru properly. When I came back, PruToo was born under the account of Prufrock2. I played PruToo properly and didn`t really do much with Pru. Pru died on the 28th and PrufrockReturns was born as the second gremlin on the Prufrock account. Seeing as PruToo was doing well, I didn`t really bother much with PrufrockReturns either, which is why PrufrockReturns is not doing too well. Captain Squarepants is my son`s gremlin. Now that Captain Squarepants is doing so well, I`ve taken him over and my son is now running PrufrockReturns (as my son has yet to work out how the changes to the game affect the game play.)

I`ve not created a replacement for PruToo.

Pru fought both you and Psychobabble quite a few times in her life.

That was the boy! He`s now running PrufrockReturns and I`ve taken this one over. I`ve told him to accept all challenges from now on, anyway.

No1 Gremlin accepting ALL challenges. Captain Squarepants wants to give you XP points!!

Now that PruToo has been cruelly and viciously taken from us, her son, Captain Squarepants is taking all challenges from any gremlin, regardless of rank. Captain Squarepants promises to not allow queues to build up, so you should never see a BUSY sign when looking to challenge him. He also promises to deal with all challenges as soon as possible, enabling gremlins to grab their points fast - no hanging around with him!

He has probably not got a great deal of time left, seeing as he`s only two days younger than PruToo. Please challenge him and make his dream come true - to make it into the top 10 best ever gremlins.

As with PruToo, Captain Squarepants offers most lower ranked gremlins the chance of loads of points without knocking them out too fast.

Come on! You know you want to! :D

Hmm...PrufrockReturns is still quite young. However, that`s one neglected gremlin. I really can`t see PrufrockReturns coming back from there. However, I think CaptainSquarepants stands a chance, seeing as he`s at #4 in the league. Can`t see him getting high in the HoF league, though.

John, thanks for your kind words - I really don`t blame you. :) I know how hard it is for you to get points, too. In a way, it shows that concentrating on stamina and dexterity over strength still pays off, as long as you fight the low and middle rank grems - PruToo gained almost 700 points yesterday, averaging something like 16 points per fight.

I`m fairly certain that PrufrockReturns and Captain Squarepants were born around the same time, yet PrufrockReturns is showing as in its prime and CS is silver haired now. :(

EDIT: I was wrong - PrufrockReturns is 9 days younger! :o

Yep - the top gremlin will have outlived me by 5 days (at least), even though I currently rank higher than him in the HoF. :(

(Not blaming you, John, as you`re not responsible for how long your gremlin lives - it`s the randomness of it all)

Anyway - I`ve now taken over my son`s gremlin to see if I can get this one up. He`s now playing PrufrockReturns. I`ve still got to teach him about how to use the new skills buttons, even though I`m not entirely sure how to use them myself. PruToo won`t be coming back for a while, as she`s off sulking. :( ;)

6-4 now, CN. (Son`s at his grandma`s now, so I`m playing his gremlin for a couple of days. :D This is Pru). Seems Captain Squarepants doesn`t even get any experience points when beating you now. :(

rsherr - your stats are about the same as Captain Squarepants, which means it was down to luck. I`ve had fights with gremlins with much lower stats and they`ve beaten me - that`s the way it goes sometimes. :(
