Copying music tracks onto Cd for playing in car CD player

Hi all

I recently tried to copy some favourite tracks after downloads onto a CD for playing in a Blaupunkt CD player but there was no sound at all.

can anyone advise me what I was doing wrong please?

The utility used was CDBurner XP. Should I have selected the Audio section of this burner to copy them?

Advice will be gratefully received.

Subtitles on downloaded films

Just a query as to whether one can have subtitles (English) on downloaded films via P2P regimes?

Rather than to wait for the films to hit general release, can this be done utilising another medium or should I wait until the films hit the stands? :(

Hi all

I have just purchased an external dvd writer (from Aldi) and am at loss regarding what blank dvds I need. The manual states that I can use either the DVD-R or the "+" version.

Which is suitable in terms of ease of use and, of course, price? Also where is the best online site that they can be purchase. I am aware of SVP as one of the most talked about site and free delivery is probably a factor that has to be borne in mind.

New Hard Drive - 40 or 80gb

I am in the process of sorting out my PC and currently have (don`t laugh!) a 4gb one with W98SE loaded.

Is there anyone out there who can point me to a good but decent and reliable site that supply drives please?

I`m looking to load XP on to this drive and my CPU is an AMDK500. Yes I know it`s a tad slow but why do I need a sooper dooper cpu when I am only going to surf the net etc.

Have had a reply from Tesco quoting the price mentioned on the boards. Looks like they will be honouring it after all.

Just a case of sitting impatiently and wait for it to arrive. Never used to be keen on Mario stuff but at this price, it`s too good a bargain to turn down.

Many thanks for the information re: unlocking. :D

I followed one of the link supplied and can assume that it has now been unlocked. The message came up as "Restriction off" so it must mean that it`s unlocked?

Will have to wait until I get the dual sim holder before finding out for a fact that it`s opned to any network. Any tips on using such a holder please? :/

I`ve got mine - in fact had 2 of these sim cards in addition to the 4 received a few months back!

I`m currently on Orange for my contract one so I assume that the phone (Nokia 6600) needs to be unlocked to take the O2 card? In fact, I have just ordered (on EBay rather) a dual sim card holder.

Any tips on using these dual sim card holders please? I am aware that the phone needs to be unlocked and any help on the best site for getting it done would be appreciated.

Got mine this morning - at long last esp when others have been receiving theirs a few days earlier!

Only problem I have is that I have an 6600 with Orange contract so assume that i need to get a dual-sim card holder (EBay`s no prob) but also to unlock the fone itself to receive the T-Mobile card.

Anyone out there can advise me on this please? I did unlock my last one (6310i) with no probs but might have lost the link. Any ideas/suggestions as to the link for that (free) unlocking site would be gratefully received.
