Copying music tracks onto Cd for playing in car CD player

Keith1156 (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 8th July 2006, 12:29

Hi all

I recently tried to copy some favourite tracks after downloads onto a CD for playing in a Blaupunkt CD player but there was no sound at all.

can anyone advise me what I was doing wrong please?

The utility used was CDBurner XP. Should I have selected the Audio section of this burner to copy them?

Advice will be gratefully received.

Thxs

Keith

Keith1156 :)

Not too sure mate but did you forget to "Close" the disc after copying. Possibly the cd player may not play the cd until it is either closed/finalised.

Just a thought mate.

Is your Blaupunkt CD player CDR/rw compatable?

How old is the CD player ?

It depends. If your player supports mp3/wma then burn as a data disc, if not then it will only play the CD if you burn as an audio disc.
