Dear jazto,

I have done the hack stuff and it works fine, going back and forth for the different regions. Quick question: can one go back and forth indefinitely on the player, or, (as with most computer DVD drives) does the player "stick" on one of the regions as a new default setting?? thanks for your help on this.

Dear XLive,

Quick question on the hacking code for the Medion MD 42167 ... I have one and want to "free" it up to see DVDs from other regions besides Region 2, namely Regions 1 and 4. My question is, do I need to re-enter the code above (1379) every time I switch back and forth from one region to the other, or is this code (or another) valid to hack the code once and for all?
