Many thanks for the advice. I tried it today and you`re completely right - you need to set the date of the event (or the first instance of the event) and then use the select button to choose Mon-Fri. I had mistakenly thought that by setting it as a Mon-Fri event, it would `know` when to start it from!

Mico DVD recorder error when using timer
I have a mico dvd recorder (espejo r311) and get an error when trying to programme the timer for a monday to friday event.
I put in the start and end times, use the SELECT button to select Mon-Fri but when I try to move off or OK the timer I get `Weekend programming not possible`.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, and can it be fixed?

I know this may be a long shot but does it have an optical input? I was thinking of getting a cheap system, not just for movies, but for hooking up my xbox to.
