Page 1 of Mico DVD recorder error when using timer

I have a mico dvd recorder (espejo r311) and get an error when trying to programme the timer for a monday to friday event.

I put in the start and end times, use the SELECT button to select Mon-Fri but when I try to move off or OK the timer I get `Weekend programming not possible`.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and can it be fixed?

If I remember correctly you have to enter the date first then cycle the repeat options via SELECT. Today it will default to a weekend date (SAT) which would explain the error message. Try changing the date to say 28 Feb and then press SELECT.

Many thanks for the advice. I tried it today and you`re completely right - you need to set the date of the event (or the first instance of the event) and then use the select button to choose Mon-Fri. I had mistakenly thought that by setting it as a Mon-Fri event, it would `know` when to start it from!
