Targa DP-5100X playback problem

Merry Christmas to all!

Got a small problem with my new Targa DP-5100x

When I playback a brand new DVD (or any for that fact!) that I got for Christmas (no scratches or marks visible)...the film seems to freeze for a moment or two, then it plays on...but it happens quite often and is getting annoying after the first 5 times!

Tried the discs on my PS2 and my other DVD players...they play perfectly

Got any ideas, peeps?

R.C E (Region Coded Enhanced) DVD`s

Hello all :)

Newbie to the forum and got a question about R.C.E DVD`s.

I know that R.C.E disks can only be played in Region 1 and possibly some Multi-Region players.

I have a Hitachi DV-P305e player, which i`ve hacked for multi-region play. I can also select the region I need for the said DVD.

Now...does anyone know if R.C.E discs can be played on my player?

Don`t want to buy an R.C.E movie and find out I can`t play it, as they are non-returnable.

Any contribution appreciated ;)
