LG Firmware Downloads

Does anyone know if there are any websites where I can download an LG 3200e hacked/updated firmware so that I can use the multi-region hack? Thanks!

Also, could anyone confirm that Disney`s Tarzan doesn`t work with the 3200e firmware 1.0? If anyone knows of any other title which have trouble playing properly, please post them here or email me: 99navir[at]moc.liamtoh

I`ve got an LG DVD-3200E which I bought soon after it came out. It turns out that it is firmware 1.0 which is not the newest version out for the 3200E. Would it be possible to get a software upgrade? Thanks.

This is the reply I got:

Thank you for your e-mail. LG Electronics do not produce `firmware` versions numbered in the way indicated in your e-mail however we do have a process by which the firmware may be modified if you experience difficulty with a particular title. Should you experience difficulties with a particular DVD title please contact us and we can make the necessary arrangements to modify your players firmware or test the DVD title as appropriate.

Should I give up hope?

Desperate LG owner needs help!

Ok, I read all the messages about the LG DVD-3200e and the region hack. Unfortunately I have firmware 1.0 so I can`t use the remote hack. Is there any way that I can get my player upgraded? How could I go about this? What would I do and say? Please help!

LG DVD-3200E

I did this to try and hack it after being told by someone:

1) Power on player with no disc in tray
2) Press PAUSE
3) Key in 314159 (The display will now show "CODE 00")
5) Select your chosen region. For multi-region, select 0
6) Press PAUSE again
7) Power off player
8) Wait for a while, turn it on, and away you go.

I tried doing that with my LG DVD-3200E (which I bought in the UK). I powered it up when there was no dis inside. I then press paused on the remote, keyed in 314159. But I had no display giving the region code! I pressed 0 anyway, and press paused again and turned it off, but I have no clue if it worked or not! If someone knows how to help, please explain!! Thanks!
