TBH - this is a stinker of a movie - and I like the actors in it - just a daft story!

Which are? I can`t find a voucher without a minimum spend of £500.
As found at hotukdeals.com forum
Use voucher PERK20 for £20 off and PRFREEDEL for free delivery. It then comes in at £163.20. ;)
Also a refurb Digifusion FVRT95 here for £65.79 + del - good price but single tuner and not in the same league either as the Humax.
PS There are some issues with the USB2 port on the Humax and also the Topfield (similiar hardware). The main issue is pretty poor speed for transfer. I can`t remember the exact details but it is fully covered in the digital spy forums.

RE: Twin freeview tuner hard disc recorder - £129.99
Better off getting the Humax 9200T from currys for £163 (if you use vouchers) - you could reduce it further with Quidco.
Not had much experience of the Inverto though - but the Humax is very popular and still getting updated and a 160GB hard dsik

RE: Epson Picturemate 100 - £40 delivered - great Christmas present(s)?
Good spot OP
I seen this reduced to £39.99 in Tescos last night.
Personally I would rather buy from a big store than a small online company - returns are generally easier and cheaper.
PS I noticed the cameras2u website says "Free next working day delivery available on orders over £100"

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)
I have now also had a text informing me that my cheque will be processed in 14 days.
I will never know if it was the original letter to the new address or my second letter to the original address that triggered this. I suspect the latter.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)
Guys,
More updates.....
I have still not had my recorded delivery signed for nor a reply to my email to E2Save.
However on Friday I sent my cashback claim again but this time to the original address and it now shows on the Royal Mail website as being signed for and delivered.
Cheers,
Scoobies

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)
My 6th month cashback went very smoothly, however I smell something very fishy. It is very hard to contact them and I have sent them a message to no avail. I was about order another phone through them but I am having second thoughts.
Incidentally I sent another letter off today to the original address via recorded delivery.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)
Grrrr >:(
I posted back my stuff (to the new address) on the 18th of April by recorded delivery. According the Royal Mail website it has still not been delivered. I called Royal Mail and was told it was "still in the system" !!!!
I asked how long a first class letter should take to be delivered and was told delivery is not guaranteed. - Useless twats - whats the point in paying over a pound if they cannot even deliver a letter.
I am debating wether to send another letter.

got my text message saying they had received my bill last Friday I believe, so just waiting on the cheque now
themissus - what address did you post the cashback offer to?

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)
Hi,
I also printed off the information last week to get ready to send it off to the new address. When I logged in this morning to double check the new address I noticed that all the information about my cashback is no longer on the website. It was clearly there last week when I logged in?
WTF is going on?
Anyway I proceded and sent off a copy of my bill and the voucher to the new address by recorded delivery.
I am thinking I may also send another copy tomorrow to the old address just in case, mentioning my other claim in case they think I am trying to claim twice.
Do the cachback details still appear for others when they log onto the website?
UPDATE Just checked again and it has now appeared again!

RE: Argos-Linksys ADSL Modem/Wireless Router & USB Adaptor £50
It always comes up full price online - but I got it for £49.98 instore.
For anyone interested PC World are now doing a similiar deal but this deal includes a PCMCIA card (PC card) for a laptop instead of the Wireless USB adapter but comes in at £44.99.

JVC GR-D240EK Camcorder £119.90 at Tesco`s
Hi Folks,
First time I have actually posted an actual bargain on this forum ;)
Anyway I was in Tesco`s this morning and the JVC GR-D240EK MiniDV Digital Camcorder was on display reduced to £119.90. This is really good value for an entry level camcorder (although it is or about to go to end of line). The cheapest I can find it (in stock) on the internet was for around £184 delivered.
Here is a link to the camcorder on Tesco`s website where it is full price - which means it must be a in-store offer only.
http://www.tesco.com/electrical/product.aspx?R=8220913&bci=295¦Camcorders
I knew it had previously been reduced to £149 but I was told that Tesco`s have a further 20% of a number of items in the camera/camcorder section. I also got a large camera bag that neatly fits the camcorder with room for a spare battery and tape for £5.97.
Oh - I got the camcorder at the St Rollox (Glasgow) branch of Tesco`s Extra. I was told there were about 20 left. I don't know if this offer is national.
Good luck...
Cheers,
Scoobies

RE: Canon MVX200i MiniDV Camcorder. £199 and free delivery..
Cheers inkitin
I have been looking at digital camcorders for a few weeks now. My main features were dv-in and preferably "true widescreen", apart from obvious build and image quality stuff.
This looks like a good deal and is a fair bit cheaper than the Sony HC42 I am currently looking at. I am seriously tempted.
Do you know if this camcorder can record in "true widescreen"?

RE: ALDI 80GB PVR with Twin Freeview Tuners from 15th Dec £99.99
I think you "may" be wrong here. Read carefully - its says now and next and then its says EPG (i.e. not in the same statement)
I could be wrong - but there is no info out there on the net on this box. Could be good - probably s***e - we`ll see.
Still might buy one for 100 bucks though

RE: ALDI 80GB PVR with Twin Freeview Tuners from 15th Dec £99.99
Cheers guys - Well aware of the 9200T (I am going to get one soon) and the Topfield, Digifusion etc. But the key here is it is £99 for a twin tuner.

RE: ALDI 80GB PVR with Twin Freeview Tuners from 15th Dec £99.99
Anybody know which model it is?
I was either looking for either a v.good freeview box or a cheap PVR as a chrissie present and this may fit the bill.
Personally I have the Humax 8000T - single tuner but very good.

RE: Bargain DivX & Card Reader DVD Player £19.99 From Lidl!!
Got my Targa 5100 this morning - in my store they had both black and silver models.
The divx playback was a bit "jumpy" - I have since downloaded the UK firmware upgrade here -> http://www.service.targa.co.uk/dokumente/Firmware_dp5100x_UK_BE.zip and it now plays smoothly.
:D

Do you need to send the original bill or will a photocopy suffice as it says...

Thanks for the reminder.
In regards to the £60 automatic cashback....
Quote:
cashback schedule:
£60 after 1 month (automatic payment to your credit/debit card)
I never received this and being a bit lazy I never checked nor chased this up until recently. I contacted e2save through their website and about 7-10 days letter I got a £60 cheque in the post from Carphone Warehouse.
