Twin freeview tuner hard disc recorder - £129.99

It`s an inverto.

Twin tuners, 80Gb hard drive, 14 day EPG. I think it`s going cheap as a new version is coming out, but this is a pretty good deal.

Order from boots.com, for £149.99 but there`s a promotion on that reduces that by £15 and using code EMLP53 gets another £5 off making it £129.99 with free delivery.

Better off getting the Humax 9200T from currys for £163 (if you use vouchers) - you could reduce it further with Quidco.

Not had much experience of the Inverto though - but the Humax is very popular and still getting updated and a 160GB hard dsik

Which are? I can`t find a voucher without a minimum spend of £500.

Looks like the 9200T has a USB 2.0 port for transferring recordings, that`s pretty handy. My Tivo is wireless so that`s not so important to me but might be to someone that uses it for their main recorder.

As found at hotukdeals.com forum

Use voucher PERK20 for £20 off and PRFREEDEL for free delivery. It then comes in at £163.20. ;)

Also a refurb Digifusion FVRT95 here for £65.79 + del - good price but single tuner and not in the same league either as the Humax.

PS There are some issues with the USB2 port on the Humax and also the Topfield (similiar hardware). The main issue is pretty poor speed for transfer. I can`t remember the exact details but it is fully covered in the digital spy forums.

I am trying to find a DVD Recorder with Hard Drive Twin Tuner & Freeview.
I don`t think one has been invented yet ! I want to have an all in one box. I want to beable to get freeview, watch one channel & record another at same time, but also have a DVD player to watch my rented/own films & listen to CD`s. I can only find either freeview with hard drive &twin tuner or DVD recorder with freeview (but not twin tuner). Anyone know of such an invention? without having 2 separate boxes? namely freeview recorder & DVD player.?????
