I got mine for £15 on yahoo auctions it was brand new, I am thinking of selling because of the the thick widescreen borders that I dont like because I only have a 14" tv. The film does have some extra scenes that I didnt see before and lots of extras on a second disc. I dont think its worth £45, £20 at the most.

i`ll give ye 20 quid for it mate.

I have ordered from dvdboxoffice 2 weeks ago, How long does it take to arrive?

i ordered from them on the 19th, they sent it out on the 20th and i recieved it this morning 27th, which to me was quick concidering there prices are very cheap. but if you cant for your film order from ezydvd (region 4) or play as they have fast delivery.

i got mine from yahoo auctions which is a region 0, it has DD155 on the back for it and it works just fine, the film and extra`s

Your Mico A980s is 7, 7, enter? Same as the old model?
You may then have an earlier firmware version than mine.

is there any way of updating the firmware, not that it needs it but i`m just interested.

i too have the mico A980s and had it for 3 months now and i must say it hasn`t let me down yet, i`ve played region 1, 2, 4, vcd`s and RCE disks and it`s played the lot with no trouble whatsoever, i had trouble with one dvd, frequency but luckily it turned out to be the disk, so its thumbs up from me and as for your hack you mentioned for the bios i turn on the machine without the door open and press 7, 7, enter

i have the mico dvd a980s and that plays hollow man which is RCE and i didn`t have to alter any of the settings

i have the mico A980s dvd player which is multi-region and it plays all my region 1 dvd`s even hollow man which is RCE.

i`ve got the mummy to on dvd and my friend has it on vhs and we couldn`t see what was diffenent either, but the answer to your question is, it`s a selling scam just to make people buy it, so that they can say to thier friends or whoever, it`s the uncut version and why is it, cos it says it on the cover..........lol. but we know different.

help needed movietyme or play247.com

can anyone help me with my problem hear it is i ordered hollow man from movietyme on friday 19th jan and recieved it today 23rd but the invoice sent with it was from play247.com are these the same company, i would be very happy if anyone could tell me.

and just to let you know i ordered xmen from dvdboxoffice 3 weeks ago and got that also today and i think that came over by a rowing boat...lol

As for order tracking and cancelling orders, they seem to be crap with it. Because you can`t do it! Unless you want to e-mail them that is, but then you never know how long it`ll be before they reply.

hey ben, i sent them an email last night about my order and wow i got a reply first thing this morning.....but get this they didnt even answer the question i asked them ( about right ) and instead they sent me a list of all the dvd`s that are getting sent, but i dont give a crap about anyone eles i wanted to know about mine and it bloody wasnt one of them

when i watched frequency, the talking seems to be very very low to the point i have to strain my ears to hear them and the music very high and yes i do have the volume up very high but cant at night cos neighbours bang on my door, so i was just wondering if it was the disk that is faulty or is that how it was made and if it was made like that it`s s***.

hope someone out there can help me.

p.s i dont have that problem with all my other dvd`s

no _007 i didnt order any thank the lord, but thats only because the site was very slow otherwise i would have done, and in reply to carrot who said they had been bust a month ago why was there site still open last night............hmm...makes your wonder

i was only on there site last night trying to buy some dvd`s but the connection was slow, so tryed again this morning and got this message

DVDplus has ceased trading and has gone into liquidation.

If you have ordered and paid for DVD`s then please contact your credit card company for a refund.

RE: Manhattan and Raite clones; do they do the business? And the Mico ...

i have had a mico now for nearly 4 months and had no problems whatsoever with it, i can record to region 1 and 2 disks to VHS and they play just fine

and like briley i have to changed the settings to ntsc but mine seem to work just fine only on a region 1 disk, when inserting a region 2 disk it says "wrong disk format", but i leave my setting on pal and it plays both.

i dont know what its like over there but over here our modern tv`s play both pal and ntsc disk`s so check your tv to see if it does, and as for your dvd player it should play both but select ntsc or auto in the setup
