RE: Help with Samsung M105
hi Steve,
well tried to record region 1 disc onto vhs. at first it did not copy, the picture kept on jumping every 2 or 3 secs like a pattern.
but after changing the `quasi-pal` function it records any disc.
I`ve tried R1,R2+R4 dvds.
so does this mean macro is disabled?
RE: Help with Samsung M105
I`v returned it back.
I still havn`t had time to check the MACRO. nowadays these players are so unpredictable, you just never know.
by the way has anyone confirmed that the macro has been diabled on this model?
RE: Help with Samsung M105
HEY PROBLEM SOLVED!
I went to ARGOS to buy the m105 because they still (in some stores) have the old batch players with the V5.02C firmware. and then simply swap the chips over!
since they have the `16 day money back guarantee` you could return it back and get your refund. however, it costs £189.99 at ARGOS.
You must hurry because the store where i got mine from, it was the last one there.
BUT if you live anywhere near MANCHESTER, there are 3 stores where I know still have some left.
1) ROCHDALE
2) ASHTON
3) MANCHESTER -SUPER STORE
HEY I AM NOT 100% SURE IF THEY WILL HAV THE OLDER VERSIONS.
You`ve still got nothing to lose.
i will later test if the MACRO has been disabled.
RE: Help with Samsung M105
same here mine is V5.02E. also the date is same as yours.
RE: Help with Samsung M105
can u please tell me how fast do you have to press your buttons. fast as possible or slowly. at what pace did you do yours.
RE: Help with Samsung M105
I can`t believe this, I`ve just bougt one today and been trying the hack but nothing is happening. what does this mean, the later models can not be done?
surly there must be another way.
RE: help ,hack required for asda dvd.pacific dvd 1000
why, do you hav a chip available for this player?
hey steve what about your opinion on this player, hav you had a good look at it. its almost identical to the rowa 280 apart from the colour and remember the rowa senario. the one without the service port+ntsc switch could be remotly hacked, well this pacific player doesn`t hav niether of these, so why can`t it be done.
RE: Any Info on HACK for PACIFIC DVD 1000
well you can try the minato g1 or the warfdale 750s...I`ve tried it and a few other people on this site say theyve tried it aswell. but nothing so far. i believe its something different or maybe the worst IT HAS TO BE CHIPPED.
we`ll hav to wait and see
RE: help ,hack required for asda dvd.pacific dvd 1000
the minato g1 and the warfdable 750s, they both don`t work on the pacific.
I`ve tried and tried the codes. but if any of you guys get it going, please post it here.
thanks,
far
asda`s pacific dvd can it be done?
hi,
i have just bought the pacific dvd player from asda`s. I have tried the minato-g1 and the warf 750s. They do not work!
has anyone got it multi region?
i have read all the rowa 280 threads and asda don`t seem to have the right one which can be done...so this is exctly the same apart from the name. its dosn`t have the ntsc/pal switch or that service port on the back.
it says `no disc` when on the display panel.
I have throughly tried the minato g1 and the warfdable 750s codes it just dosn`t seem to take it.
I wanna just ask you guys about the speed you enter these codes. I`ve done a couple before...i had to do them pretty quick. I`ve tried it slowly and as fast as it can be done, but no its not having it!
ALSO the previous thread by `johnh` `asda dvds` . have you had any luck with your player in making it multi region?
thanks,
far
RE: Toshiba sd 110e multiregion
Hi,
I bought a DIY kit for this player to make it multiregion. I wanted to watch vcd`s but this player does not accept the vcd`s i want to watch (asian ones) even if you chipped it. so i wasted £30-00 for this chip. but if your interested I can do it for £20-00 inc p+p to uk. I have all the instructions etc.
thanks,
Farooq
AIWA DV 370 IS THIS FOR REAL??????
Has anyone bought the feb issue of TOTAL DVD?
Well it has the mulit region hack by remote. Has anyone out there tried this yet? Total dvd are saying it works but doesn`t state anything about the macro.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT HAVE THE MAG HERE IT IS:
Beware, the 370`s fiddly remote makes this quite tricky to master.
1. Make sure there are no discs in the player, turn the unit on with Power button. `No disc` appears in the LCD display panel.
2. Press the Pause/step button once only.
3. Press 3,1,4,1,5,9 using the number buttons.
4. The display shows `Code-----` . Press the number button according to the region code you want (1-6) or press 0 to accept all regions.
5. Press the Pause/step button once again.
6. Turn the unit off with the power button. when you turn it on again, the switch will have been completed.
I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS, I HAVE COPIED IT FROM THE MAG. IF THIS WORKS CAN YOU TELL ME IF IT HAS DISABLED MACROVISON

RE: recording from samsung 511 to vcr
I have a Toshiba 100e. I`ve tried recording onto vcr...I managed to record region 2 pal and any video cd movies perfectly. However, I can`t seem to record region 1! It plays faster also the picture is rumbling up and down like anything.
I am trying to find out more but if anyone knows a solution out there THEN LET US KNOW.
THANKS,
FAROOQ
DO THESE CODES HAVE TO BE RE-ENTERED EVERY TIME?
Hi,
I looking to buy a player but wanna make sure about this remote hacking
business. Do you have to puch the code every time you change discs/switch off,on again ? Or is it ONE TIME ONLY.
regards,
Farooq
