you need to download lg5000 zip file and burn it to a disc im afraid to make this machine region free i manage to get hold of a copy from a link on the other lg hacks and it worked perfectly sorry not got the link available but a quick search on this site should help you find it.

Should be region free out of the box mine was when i bought it
watch out though with this machine as lipp synch was well out on mine so got a different model in the end

instead of next/previous/next/previous try ffwd/rev/ffwd/rev as this worked on my portable
dvd its worth a shot!

Its ok i have discoverd it its basically the same as many others
press setup
then instead of next (>>¦),previous,(¦<<)next,(>>¦)previous(¦<<)
you press ffwrd.(>),rev(<),ffwrd(>)rev(<)
version appears use left or right to change to 255 region free
and up or down to
3001 macro enable and left or right to
3000 macro disable
I would imagine that this may work on some of the other machines that should work with next/ previous hack
give it a try

roadstar tvd5004 hack

has anyone found the hack for the roadstar tvd5004 as i have aquired one really cheap and the region hack would be an even bigger bonus

try www.liteonit.com this is the home page then choose catergory audio/video and model number this then brings up fimware and instruction manual downloads then just follow my previous instructions and by the way im no expert i just learnt by trial and error

download ilo hacker and the firmware for dd-a110 from liteon
then on ilo hacker use the browse folder function and select the firmware the hacker will then do the rest and create hacked firmware in a new folder (dont forget to select were you want the hacked firmware to go) then simply follow instructions from liteon on how to burn firmware onto a disk you should find this comes with the original firmware you downloaded
i used nero to burn and it worked straight away

yes the ilo hacker registers the macro hex and removes it no problem

i used the firmware from lite-on and the ilo hacker which removed the macrovision but the macrovision has also got to be removed from the source you are recording from so it didnt really make much difference

Can anyone help with a region Hack for the Technika dvr100 vcr/dvd combo as i have tried everywhere to find one i have this machine in my kids bedroom and they cant watch their region 1 films in there im getting grief off them can anyone help?

does anyone know any hacks for these as yet i know there brand new but i want to know if there is one and if there any good and if there worth buying ?

Does anyone know any details about the Onn dvd recorders at asda, who there made
by? more importantly are there any known hacks for them? just taken durabrand rubbish back and was wondering about these?
