Silent Hill:Homecoming
Just imported this game from the states for the PS3. Have been looking forward to it for ages as I am a huge Silent Hill fan. I am more than a bit disappointed to say the least. The graphics for one are sub standard, not even as good as the Playstation 2 episodes. It also just doesn`t feel like a proper Silent Hill game, probably due to the fact that it wasn`t developed by Konami. It`s also quite linear and not very scary. The one good thing about it is the music which is provided by the series original composer Akira Yamaoka. My advice would be to rent it first before you buy, unlike me.

Being a huge fan of the original Lost boys film I was really looking forward to this sequel. Unfortunately having just seen it I am shocked at how bad it really is. 21 years should have been long enough to come up with a decent script and good actors. I am gutted also that the guest appearences are so poorly executed. Corey Haim was barely recognisable seeing he was in full vampire makeup. Instead of watching this buy the original movie on blu ray which is out on the 29th of July (Region 1). Hoping it will play ok on UK blu ray player.

You need to purchase the internet channel to be able to use the i-player. It is 500 Wii points.
Haze...any good?
Been looking forward to this game for quite a while now but have heard it has received some very low scores from certain games reviewers. Played the demo on PSN and wasn`t very impressed by the graphics or gameplay. I know you can`t judge the full game by its demo but I am starting to think this game could be a huge disappointment. Hope I am wrong. Will probably end up buying it on Friday just to see for myself.

Just installed update and when the game started again it went straight to starting a new game. When I pressed pause and went to the load game screen there were no game saves. I am absolutely raging considering I was well through the games missions as I`ve had the game since launch day. Has anyone else had this problem?

Decided not to get one in the end. Although it was a great price I couldn`t justify owning yet another machine as the house is coming down with them.

Collecting mine tomorrow so will let you know. I`m using my PS3 to upscale my dvds at the moment and I have to say the picture quality is much better.

Well spotted G Man! Looks like a good buy. I was just thinking of buying a wharfdale digital video recorder so this will do quite nicely instead. At that price you couldn`t go wrong.

One of the reasons I hesitated about buying a PS3 was the lack of rumble in the controllers but once I did get one I didn`t really miss it as much as I thought. I like the sixaxis especially on games like folklore and heavenly sword. I`d still like the option though.

Hi! Does anyone know where I can buy a Dualshock 3 controller for my PS3? I have tried a couple of places like play-asia and movietyme. Movietyme does not stock it & play-asia does but doesn`t dispatch to the uk which is a shame. I wish Sony would hurry up any release it over here. Haven`t even seen a release date for it.

It is. Just completed Uncharted and I must say it is a fantastic game. Quite short though, only took me 6 hours to complete but highly recommend it.
