after returning my dansai to tesco
they informed me that they had quite a few returns on this model
however after lots of bullshits & the fact that i decide to buy the philips 623 instead ( it was 2am ) they let me upgrade.
so beware ,tesco are now refusing to refund your money in some stores due to the high number of returns

hi does anyone know of any firmware hacks that will let this player play pc based vcd etc ..at present my player only plays r1 & r2 ,vcd discs .but no cd-r etc..so downloads from the net cant be played.?

just change to ME & re installed dvd genie ,but it won,t work..i remmber changeing the firmware before on the player but that should of stayed in the dvd player any ideas?

we have tried the hack with standard phillips remote... up comes the lines ----- etc the before we can change the code it read no disc..are we doing something wrong...please help?

it the same old question is there a hack out there yet for this player..will any of the old goodmans hacks work? ....the reason I ask is my brother in law has just got one.

i have a one for all (upgradeable remote) is the setup hack the same or do I need to change the remote.the setting are SAT /VCR/TV /CD THEN AUX .. WILL THE AUX WORK OK.
AND IS THE HACK THE SAME FOR THE 711
orion 2000 dvd player.
we have used the hack which is listed for it ....however our menu gives option 1 to 8 only no region option appeared .. what do we do now? anyone else found the same problem.
