I just took my second Logix 3300D back to tesco . It would not play SVCDs without skipping on the audio like a buffer underrun. I now have a thompson 5000 and its fine on everthing including MP3s

I have just done the region mod on a DTH 5000. But in the previous post you say in step 10 that the Macrovision can also be disabled here.
HOW ?
All I saw was the figure 02 which changed to 09 at step 7.
There is no other menu .
Or does changing ther unit to Region free also switch off the Macrovision

Wanted MACROVISION Hack for Daewoo DHC 2200 with new v2 firmware

I recently had my DHC2200 service exchanged by Daewoo because the digital data stream was out of tolerence. The returned unit has new firmware and the original secret menu is no longer available. I have managed to get it back to multi region using an updated hack but as yet have found no way to turn the macrovision off. does any one have a hack that will work with the new firmware?

If you refer back to the paperwork sent with the chip you should be able to restore the settings via the remote control by selecting PAL and then multiregion
